Drawing - Permanent Intermediacy. I began my journey to curate an exhibition based entirely on drawings exactly one year ago. In September 1998 I visited a drawing exhibition of 40 different British artists that took place in London. The exhibition, that included many participants and works, seemed like a big fairground, of which only a small number of pieces remained in my mind. The main feeling that transpired following my visit to that exhibition was that of longing to more frequently see illustrated works.
