The Future Belongs To ZEETEX New EU labeling results issued early in the first quarter of the year paid testimony to the superiority of the ZEETEX brand, with six patterns from Indonesia – ZT2000, HP1000, CT1000, SU1000, HT1000 and AT1000 – getting the mark of approval. ZT2000 got a remarkable 2 arc on ‘External/Pass-by Noise’, got an ‘E’ rating on Rolling Resistance and ‘C’ on Wet Grip. Almost all sizes in the HP1000 range got 1 arc on ‘External/Pass-by Noise’, a commendable achievement considering that ZAFCO’s existing UHP patterns, the HP102/102+ and the HP103 got 3 arcs on most sizes. However, the HP1000 stood in a class of its own, proving to be a ‘Super Silent’ tire, and showing marked improvements on all three parameters (rolling resistance, wet-grip and pass-by noise). The CT1000 clinched an ‘A’ rating, becoming the first pattern in the portfolio to accomplish this. The range scored highly in the ‘wet-grip’ range, after seven sizes in the range got the ‘A’ rating and another seven got a ‘B’ rating, making it the safest tire in wet conditions. The CT1000 also got a ‘C’ rating across most sizes in terms of rolling resistance with pass-by noise at only 2 arcs. The SU1000 pattern got an EU labeling rating of ‘C’ on rolling resistance, ‘B’ on a majority of sizes on wet-grip and 2 arcs on ‘External/Pass-by Noise’. Three of the sizes scored 1 arc, making the SU1000 better in fuel efficiency and in its performance in wet conditions when compared to the HP202/HP202+. The HT1000 got ratings of ‘E C 2’ while the AT1000 secured EU labeling ratings of ‘E’, with some in the range getting ‘F’ on rolling resistance, and all tires in the range getting the ‘C’ rating on wet-grip. Terrain patterns and 4X4 tires are not meant to have less rolling resistance. The ZT2000 got an ‘E’ rating for rolling resistance, a ‘C’ rating for wet grip and 2 arcs on pass-by noise. The labeling results speak volumes of the new ZEETEX range, which has improved in leaps and bounds and has created a buzz in different regions across the world, with positive responses to the brand which acquitted itself well against other top players.
