already established as an outstanding setting for challenging young people in care anderida staff are specialists in facilitating development and growth in the young people in our care anderida education delivers tailored educational provisions to young learners in key stages 3 4 with resources to offer vocational and kinesthetic experiences to compliment learning outside of the classroom with a core offer of e learning to meet the needs of the national curriculum learners in key stage 3 will engage with a supported fulltime education provision complimented by the creativity of an opening minds curriculum the opening minds curriculum will offer a tailored provision creating opportunities to gain nationally recognised accreditation in a range of entry level 1 2 3 and level 1 vocational qualifications learners in key stage 4 will participate in a full-time educational provision with the benefit of 1:1 support throughout initial and comprehensive needs analysis will form the basis for each learner s individual education plan iep it is here that a structured educational provision will be identified to meet the specific educational and social needs of the learner anderida education offers all young people greater potential in meeting the government s 2003 every child matters agenda.

anderida education anderida education seeks to support the educational development of vulnerable young people by providing opportunities for achievement wellbeing and enrichment in an environmentally sustainable setting anderida education engages young people from challenging backgrounds who are at risk of social exclusion this is achieved through a unique fusion of nurture and boundary with a strong therapeutic emphasis set within a farming environment we provide real experiences of living and working in a family-oriented farming community with a particular focus on building self esteem and positive reinforcement anderida education provides opportunities for achievement and reflection and helps young learners to achieve through experiential learning offering successful and rewarding engagement with farm activities all e learning is done within a `fit for purpose learning space within the care homes a discrete space is available to access ict equipment with full internet and digital learning resources a qualified teacher will deliver `virtual lessons online with which the learner can engage with additional 1:1 support being offered by anderida education staff.

vocational pathways are facilitated outside of the classroom with educational and social activities taking within a variety of contexts with a focus on environmental and community integrity all learners will gain the opportunity to contribute to the running of oliver s farm a smallholding in the heart of the east sussex countryside all areas of farm operations will be explored with learners specialising in specific areas of interest which may include animal care vehicle maintenance/operations agriculture and countryside and environment for example.
