The wonderful costumes of the children and some adults, in particular Mr Ian Smith, added to the exciting atmosphere. Over 340 tickets which helped us to raise £1150.83 for our school, so all the hard work was well worth it! Thanks go to Mr Conway; Mr Hogan; Mr Eliott; All Saints and Notre Dame pupils and all the parents who helped before, during and after the event. This event couldn’t have taken place without your support, so thank you to all. Please speak to Mrs Clements for further details about this project which will get started in March. The PTA is trying to focus on funding improvements to our playgrounds. Projects which the PTA will help to fund include; • re-painting and improving the yard markings in the key stage one playground and creating yard markings in the key stage 2 play ground • making improvements to the reception and reception/year one outdoor learning areas • having a climbing wall and seating area in the key stage 2 play ground. FASHIONISTAS In November, the schoolʼs first fashion show proved to be great fun. As well as watching the show, lots of ladies managed to grab some great high street bargains and enjoy relaxing beauty treatments. Money raised came to an amazing £700. Thanks to those who attended and helped out. We may plan a Spring/ Summer fashion show, so watch this space! OF CHRISTMAS CARDS & FAYRES Many thanks to you for supporting the two festive, seasonal events. The create-your-own cards raised £358.92. The Christmas fayre raised a further £997.20 for the school.

BUN SALE Valentine’s Day Disco Bun Sale FEB 24 Easter Eggstravaganza APR Easter Bonnet Parade APR Volunteers to run bun sales? Julie Ritchie has done an excellent job organising all the bun sales the past few years. As her children will be leaving St Wilfrid’s, it would be great if we could have a volunteer or two to assist her during this next term with an eye towards taking over and providing continuity for this regular and enjoyable event which raises money to help our school.
