Through The Voice in the Wilderness you have seen the great work the pastors are doing in Venezuela. Published here are the names and faces I am asking you to pray for. That is precisely what these dedicated servants need—our prayers! May I also add, they need financial help as well. We may or may not reach a monetary goal, but here is a big one to shoot for. Let’s ask the Lord for $1000.00 per pastor for the needs in their ministries. Can we do that?—for a total of $8,000.00 to Venezuelan Missions. Take another look at the names and faces. Lord help us to be a blessing, to these, YOUR servants. For Christ and Souls, Ronnie L. Williamson Isa. 40:31 Contending for American Freedom • Contending for Fundamental Christianity “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.” - Mark 1:3

See the Faces Pastor Antony - La Victoria In 2007, my family and I moved to La Victoria and became Pastor of the “Cristo Jehova” Church. During this time, we have purchased property and constructed a church building - Praise the Lord! Please pray for new believers as they learn and grow in the Lord and for many new souls to be saved. Bro. danny - Chivacoa The Lord has burdened my heart to become a pastor. When finances are available, I will be able to prepare for God’s call in the Bible Institute. Until then, I will labor with Pastor Estelvio to establish a new church plant in Chivacoa. Please pray for finances to attend the Bible Institute. We praise the Lord for the opportunity to attend and graduate from Bible Institute. My family and I are thankful for God’s call to GO and begin a new work for Him. Currently, we are serving in our local church as we pray and seek God’s will for where He would have us move and start a new church plant. Please pray for God’s leadership and finances for the move. Pastor Elton Pastor Engleberth - Maracay For the past couple of years, we have worked to establish a new church in Maracay. Our prayer is to purchase property and build a church. As the church continues to grow, we are also praying to be able to live closer to Maracay, making it easier to consistently disciple new converts. $1,000/Pastor Needed give monthl y or a one-time of fering

You can Help! Pastor Josue - San Pablo Having pastored in San Pablo for several years, we have seen many come to know Christ and commit to serve Him. At this time, our church meets in a member’s home; therefore, our urgent need is to purchase property and build a church. Please pray for finances to reach this goal. Pastor Estelvio - Chivacoa After fourteen years of ministry in Sabana de Parra, God has called my family and I to established a work in Chivacoa. With several established Christians, the work is already thriving. Please pray for a permanent meeting place and growth of new converts. Pastor Juan - Merida After serving under Pastor Carlos Ramos for several years, the Lord called us to begin a new work in Merida. The cost of living in Merida is much higher than in our home town, Yaritagua. Please pray for finances to move to Merida and for a place to hold church services. Pastor Miguel - Las Piedras I recently graduated from Bible Institute and in December 2013 will be married. The Lord has called us to pastor the new work in Las Piedras. Praise the Lord for the property. Now, we need funds to construct a church building. Please pray for our church as it continues to grow. Will you help a Pastor reach Venezuela? NEWS BITS FROM HERE AND THERE Washington, DC - Our federal government is inundated with socialistic thinking. Obama ran on the promise of change—and he has delivered! It has not been less and smaller government, but more and bigger government. It has not been less and smaller taxation, but more and bigger taxation. The philosophy is that the larger income that you earn, the more the government takes. The federal government has the right and power to take from those that have and give it to those that have not. Is this in itself not explicitly socialistic? Economic Crisis – Sadly, far too many conservative voters in America do not understand the tragedy of Obamcare and the economic crisis. One critical point is national defense. Obama is systematically weakening the U.S. military by plunging our nation into irrecoverable debt. With greater budget waste and more entitlement programs, the Obama administration has proposed the solution to the huge national debt as cutbacks in the Department of Defense. Like it or not, the U.S. has in many ways, become the global policeman. “According to the pentagon, the U.S. military maintains some 716 overseas bases and installations in approximately 150 nations. (That number might be closer to 1,000 installations when hundreds of secret bases—such as unmanned drone launch sites—are included.) The combined U.S. military budget of almost $700 billion exceeds the Defense spending of the next 10 nations. The U.S. Navy has 11 aircraft carriers… the largest warships in the world. Spain and Italy have two carriers each, while Britain, France, Russia, India, Brazil, and Thailand each have one. China purchased an aircraft carrier from Russia and is retrofitting it; however, it still has to acquire naval aircraft and its pilots need to be trained for carrier operations. A U.S. Navy aircraft carrier battle group normally consist of a single aircraft carrier surrounded by nuclear-powered submarines and numerous Aegis-class destroyers equipped with cruise missiles.” (One Nation, Under Attack, Grant Jeffrey). Obviously this says nothing of the massive number of troops and matériel. This is just one window of enlightenment as to the implications of bad economic policies and national debt. The U.S. simply can not sustain needed national defense budgeting with the current waste and debt. For more resources, visit www.thevoiceinthewilderness.org •7
