Carmel College in Darlington has a wide range of facilities available to hire and is ideally situated just five minutes drive from the A1 and 10-15 minutes from the railway station and Durham Tees Valley Airport with connections across the country.
JOHN CADEN HALL
A magnificent purpose built hall which can seat from 30 to 400 people, with a comprehensive range of audio visual equipment. This makes an ideal venue for any event from conferences, exhibitions and lectures to dance productions and charity fundraisers. The John Caden Hall has a full range of layout options and can be divided into two smaller spaces if required.
The conference room can seat between 18 and 40 delegates and can be laid out to suit your needs. A whiteboard, projector and screen are available in this room if required.
The training room has internet access as well as a boardroom conference facility for up to 10 delegates. The room is equipped with a PC, projector and screen for presentations.
The community room is a spacious conferencing room which can seat up to 24 delegates comfortably. As with all our other facilities it is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, projector and screen for presentations.
The seminar room is our smallest room seating up to 8 people. This is ideal for small intimate meetings. The room is equipped with a PC, projector and screen for presentations.
Whichever room you choose and whatever your event, our hospitality department at Carmel offers an extensive selection of menus to choose from. If you do not require a meal we can also provide light refreshments served at a time to suit you. More details can be found in our hospitality booklet.
