ST WILFRID’S  Primary School P TA N E W S L E T T E R SEPTEMBER 2013 z Welcome Back z We hope you had a lovely summer, and that you and your children have come back refreshed. The PTA hopes to have these new newsletters about every 10-12 weeks during the school year to keep you informed of our upcoming events. A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT We are happy to announce that 2012-2013 was a very successful year. Thanks to your generosity and attendance at our events, the PTA has raised nearly £7,900, and will be registering for charity status. A number of ideas were discussed about how to spend the money including: improving the playground/ roundhouse area, a new school library, and support for the next creative day. At the last meeting, it was agreed to fund new Cross Country uniforms and a new fridge for the reception class. A wish list box will be made available in the staff room for teachers to submit their ideas to the PTA. We welcome all parents to attend PTA meetings to determine how some of the money raised might be spent to support the school. We also encourage new ideas and seek help.
