easter revision 2010 an introduction davies laing dick college has run specialist easter revision courses for well over 30 years over this period many thousands of students have benefited from attending these courses gaining greatly improved exam grades and securing places at the most prestigious universities we strive to provide the highest quality of teaching on our courses all our tutors are highly qualified and are experts in their subject areas furthermore many of our tutors are a-level and gcse board examiners and are able to provide students with a unique insight into the specific requirements of particular units and exam boards the main focus of our easter revision programme is to enhance and reinforce knowledge of key topics through extensive examination practice and analysis of past examination material the dld easter revision course provides a systematic approach to revision which in turn gives students the motivation and support that they need at this time as the exams approach attendance at our easter revision course will give students improved subject knowledge and the confidence that is required to achieve their full academic potential we keep our study group size to a minimum with an average class of six students this enables us to make a full assessment of each student s knowledge and understanding and ensures that teaching is tailored to the needs of the individual as well as the group we also offer where possible private tuition between easter and the june exams to provide additional support to students should they require it.

general information dates and times week 1 week 2 courses times monday 29t h march to thursday 1st april 2010 tuesday 6th april to friday 9th april 2010 am 9.00 12.45 pm 1.45 5.30 the college day all a2 as and gcse courses consist of four morning or four afternoon sessions except for igcse double science which runs as a four full-day course courses are unit based so students can enrol for a full course or individual units of the course fees a2 courses as courses gcse courses £350 per subject £325 per subject £300 per subject igcse double science £550 for subjects not offered as courses e.g english literature or for additional support private tuition is available fees vary but can be confirmed by contacting the director of easter revision dave dineen how to apply to apply for revision courses please fill in the enclosed revision enrolment form and return to the director of easter revision davies laing and dick college 100 marylebone lane w1u 2qb.
