alice harper studied biology and chemistry dld has an excellent reputation and i needed a college which provided an intensive one year course to allow me to apply to medical school i also knew from a friend who had done science a levels here that it would be the college to get me through and i feel it has the help i received from my personal tutor whilst applying to university was invaluable the teaching quality is good and what i liked best was the fact that `no was never an answer doors are never closed it is far more relaxed than my previous school and it seems that discipline is thoughtfully administered people are made to feel very welcome here chemistry is definitely my favourite subject as it engages my whole brain and would wholeheartedly recommend the course the resources available online have been very useful indeed i have also made use of the excellent shopping opportunities on marylebone high street as well as regents and hyde parks and the wallace collection alice is going to read medicine at ucl mark t soliman i am now studying maths at royal holloway university a completely different direction to medicine if it wasn t for all the encouragement and help from you and my teachers i doubt i would have received a place from them even though we had many talks together about me losing my bursary you never lost hope in me always advised me and kept my place at dld i can t thank you enough for that both you and the staff helped me get back on my feet pushed me and sent me all the work missed after taking two months off because of my illness and operation i can t think of any college that would have focused so much on just one pupil www.dld.org[close]
