study load to get this degree students have to complete 240 ecs that means 16 professional situations twelve of these are obligatory and four are elective the full study load is 1680 hrs year · based on elsewhere achieved competences stoas offers shortened programmes associate degree floral design the associate degree floral design programme focuses on the modern florist and includes artistic design entrepreneurship and marketing and communication the professional profile of the ad graduate covers characteristics like entrepreneurship design specialist manager floral events and stylist title bachelor bc in education stoas professional university provides it s graduates with an international diploma supplement as well associate degree assistant education the associate degree assistant education programme enables the student to achieve competences in support of educational processes and learning therefore achievement of didactic competences and coaching competences in the `green context of education is essential international bachelor course education knowledge management 5 stoas university offers an international course leading to the degree bachelor of education this course aims at achieving competences to be an innovative and qualified teacher or knowledge manager in accordance with the international standard of the dublin descriptors yulia graduated for the bachelor from stoas university and continues her studies at her home university `the educational system is different as for training the way of performing the lessons is uncharacteristic of russian universities students in our university get their knowledge from a big amount of lectures which are delivered only by teachers during the lessons at the stoas there is co-operation between students and trainers all the time trainers use different didactic methods most of the time this is group work with a task students often show their knowledge by use of presentations one more interesting fact is about practice the first three days of the study week students have lessons at the university and the other two days theoretical knowledge is confirmed by practice each student has an individual practical placement at an organization in my case my first practical placement there are three practical placements in all i was in a cheese-making farm i made an overall analysis of this organisation also i got the knowledge and skills of cheese-making dutch cheese is very tasty associate degree stoas university offers two associate degree programmes · associate degree floral design · associate degree assistant education the study load is 120 ecs after successful completion the students get the ad diploma and the title `associate degree ad the degree gives access to the stoas bachelor programme including recognition of in the ad achieved competences stoas university of applied sciences and teacher education
