ffa members and advisors this year s annual theme infinite potential touches me personally as i say goodbye to my official role as the wise owl of the national ffa organization when i look back on my 44 years in agricultural education and ffa i see the blossoming of infinite potential in our ffa members i see the infinite potential realized in ffa advisors and former members i also think of me a tall lanky kid who began to develop his potential as an ffa member of the stet ffa chapter in missouri with the help of dedicated teachers and ffa i realized my personal version of success by working in the best profession in existence agricultural education and ffa ffa members your potential is infinite i am honored and proud to have served you perhaps others in the organization shared my sense of nostalgia the new shipment of heritage station markers arrives this fall but ffa doesn t just stock supplies and it definitely doesn t live in the past your national ffa organization has infinite potential to serve you members and advisors with outstanding programs for leadership community service personal growth and career success and also with ffa-branded merchandise in the blue ffa apparel and gift catalog whether it s official dress official casual dress tees sweatshirts blankets bags or boots the blue has it for you our national ffa you talk we listen initiative began last year and it continues to provide us with your suggestions on ways to better serve you ffa continues to improve shop ffa the ffa online store we re making it easier to shop and find exactly what you want with better photography merchandise layout and the acceptance of school purchase orders just a few examples of how your suggestions have been implemented additionally ffa has invested in embroidery and laser engraving machines this new personalization equipment allows us to produce more specialized merchandise deliver it faster and offer it at a better price beginning aug 1 2010 embroidery fees will be adjusted to a fixed fee of $5 for three lines of front embroidery on apparel we have also eliminated the $10 emergency rush service fee for blue jackets and the $10 surcharge for domestic blue jackets produced in the usa as you know ffa-branded merchandise sales provide monetary support to the national ffa organization every purchase from the blue ffa apparel and gift catalog contributes to the infinite potential of ffa members and their success in agricultural education and ffa on behalf of the national ffa organization i thank you for your support i look forward to seeing all of you at the 83rd national ffa convention which will be my 27th and final convention where i serve as your national ffa advisor stationed by the owl i hope you will celebrate agricultural education and ffa as i intend to do the rest of my life best wishes to all sincerely larry d case ed d national ffa advisor 888 332 2668 ffa.org/shop
