7 kindergarten carpark abraham cres ­ at our last bot meeting one item of discussion was the state of the kindergarten carpark note that although this is used mostly by the kindergarten the land does actually belong to milson school we have decided to do a temporary repair to the growing potholes ­ and to this end the carpark will be closed tomorrow friday 17th to allow these repairs to take place we are then investigating with the kindergarten association a longer term solution ­ however even if we decide to do a complete repair this can t occur until summer when conditions are much drier ­ so may end up being a summer holiday project over the year we run a few selected fund raising events to encourage our students to look at our wider responsibilities as citizens obviously these are all voluntary for participation we have for the past 10 years plus have supported world vision with a sponsored child currently khuki as well as the 40 hour famine three other charities areas we have also supported is canteen and daffodil day to support cancer sufferers and loud shirt day for deaf children to that end a few events are being held this term to support them daffodil day ­ daffodils for sale from 27 august $2 and we will run a coin trail on 31 august stickers given to support his charity khuki ­ we will run a mufti day on 7 september gold coin donation loud shirt day ­ mufti day friday 21 september gold coin donation canteen ­ selling of bandanas $4 and ziptags $2 from office 16-28 sept fund raising events ­ on friday we went to the olympics festival and we played cricket i got to hit the ball i got to switch activities by meisha we went to the olympics festival and i had fun playing cat and mouse by clare junior olympics day all the rata team attended an olympic day on last friday they had a terrific time and in the end everyone made a huge olympic flag ­ with the 5 rings ­ what a great photo sports draw milson united junior football club draw for saturday 18 august milson united team opposition ground kick off first kicks all stars 7th div.4 easigrass 8th div.2 watson integrity 9th div.2 dave younger electrical 10th div.1 fuji xerox 11th div.3 mixed marton wasps north end brunton engineering bye north end gary douglas engin feilding pumas papaioea park wilson park 7 marton papaioea park 3 papaioea park 2 mcgregor park 1 10.30am 9.00am 9.00am 10.30am 9.00am
