the game never stops what is floorball actually is it something you do according to a fixed weekly schedule on a pre-booked court at a sports centre or is it all the fun you can have with a stick and a ball outside the garage in the corridor on the lawn or in a sports centre we tend to lean toward the latter description everyone at zone has a solid background in floorball many of us have played on the swedish national team and even had professional international careers what compelled us at one time to start was how incredibly fun it is to mess around with a ball we were either a few buddies just playing around in the neighbourhood or we had no one to play with and just did tricks and shot goals until we were dragged in to dinner by a worn-out-from-nagging parent that s where it started ­ the love for the game those of us who work here are very protective of this feeling it makes no difference if you play for the national team an amateur league or if you ve just learned to tie your own shoes the way we see it fun comes first for us floorball isn t something you play 3 times 20 minutes and it definitely isn t why we try to make the world s best floorball equipment we re here for all the people who can t but love this innocently fun game with a stick and ball called floorball we take you all very seriously 3

new shaft groove during the last years the development in the field of shafts has been massive all producers have tried to find the shaft technique that gives the best effect in other words the fastest and most powerful shot with the new zone shaft groove we have found that technique we have consulting engineers who have analyzed how the shaft can be made stronger in the shot direction without making the shaft any heavier the solution has been to shape the shaft as an i-beam and also to add two oval segments at the points where the shaft is at its stiffest and thereby concentrating the flex point to the spot between those segments to further increase the power of the shot the lower part of the shaft has been slightly bent to give an optimal angle when the ball is struck zone has used existing shaft techniques added new innovations analyzed tested and created ­ groove 5
