ESL Foundation Year Program This year-long foundation program is an intensive English immersion experience allowing students to increase their English for Academic Purposes. The success of this program is the integration of academics, language acquisition, and community program. The structured environment provides every opportunity for students to increase their English skills to successfully transition into Grade 11 and/or Grade 12. Academic Grades 11 and 12 (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) Offering two full semesters (4 credits in the Fall and 4 credits in the Winter), students will undertake the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum from an English Second Language Perspective. In class sizes of 5 to 10 students, each student will receive individual attention to ensure success. Transfer credit(s) will be assessed and granted for successfully completed Grade 9/10/11 work, and will be applied towards their high school diploma. There is a direct correlation between understanding the curriculum and academic success. Achieving high marks and learning English equates to confidence and competitive applications to university/college.

Post-Graduate Year Specifically designed for those students who have already completed their high school diploma (in Canada or in their home country), students will undertake an English for Academic Purposes Program with the goal of successfully obtaining a TOEFL/IELTS score to satisfy the language requirement for university/college. Placement Services Our pathway programs, reputation and sound educational consulting ensures students are placed at universities/colleges where they will be successful. At Fulford Prep College, we provide educational pathway guidance where students can grow and develop into academically well-rounded individuals. We offer comprehensive guidance and placement services to our students. Our services are tailored to the family’s needs with a cultural awareness. We develop and implement a sound education for students to gain the linguistic and academic success from a full English immersion program to a boarding school and to a university/college.
