acc mom s group newsletter mother daughter tea party july/august 2012 o n june 3rd the acc mom s group hosted the 3rd annual mother/daughter tea party we had an awesome turnout with 30 girls and their moms in attendance the pavilion was superbly decorated each girl had a chance to paint a fun wooden flower and color a teapot and teacup coloring sheet there were games and prizes and a pair of fairy wing for each daughter a big thanks to lindsey carlson nichole lang jacqueline duvall teresa quarberg raewyn galloway and anne purcell and leannne reyes for the food preparation and organization the girls went home with a special teapot cookie favor a hair flower and tea party bookmark preschool tricycle rally by toni mcnulty espite seriously high temperatures there was a generous turnout at this year s preschool tricycle rally participants rode bigwheel three wheelers a wooden balance bike vintage style metal trikes one decorated in patriotic garb and even a turtle a couple of the safer riders donned helmets while the more free spirited bunch threw caution to the wind with traditional cloth hats the riders took turns test driving one another s ride to gauge optimum d seat to pedal ratio and ground clearwere seen taking refuge in the nearby ance some participated in a friendly pool post ride definitely a considerarace around the lot overall the classic tion for the organizers of the 2013 rally radio flyer tricycle held out best among the competition in both speed and ergonomics popsicle refreshments were provided to keep the riders electrolyte levels at peak performance one spectator commented we really need to consider a spring rally next year and many acc mom s group events july 4 acc 4th of july events august tbd teen pool party 1
