production process ­ floorball shafts 0o 45o to create a floorball shaft you need strong and durable raw materials our floorball shafts consist of top class carbon fibre and glass fibre and normally a stick is a mix of these two materials which is called composite simply put you could say that the higher proportion carbon fibre used in the shaft the better the final product becomes in terms of strength stiffness performance and low weight the rebound of the shaft also gets faster by using a high percentage of carbon fibre in the shaft the production process of a shaft is very time consuming and consists of over 100 different steps before the final product is finished the small pieces of woven carbon fibre pre-preg which is the raw material that you start with is placed along the shaft at different angles to give strength at the exactly correct positions and pressure points each shaft model is unique and the pattern for placing the carbon fibre is very different from stick to stick for instance a curved shaft has certain requirements and a straight shaft has completely different needs after having created the correct pattern of pre-preg pieces the shaft is heated to 150 degrees celsius inside a customized oven for approximately 40 minutes then the manual process of refining the shaft begins and the customization includes a very large number of steps before the final product is complete with paint decal gripband and packaging in our opinion it´s a piece of art 45o reverse 90o 7
