university of lausanne switzerland in 1992 she has a degree in french language and literature and is general coordinator for casasito association a non-profit organization which she founded in 2002 a 1984 graduate of aquin high school in freeport the future bridegroom has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering earned in 1989 from the university of texas in austin he received his master of science degree from stanford university in 1990 and was employed as a microprocessor design engineer at intel corp in santa clara calif for nine years he is now engaged in volunteer work and whitewater kayaking in guatemala news tommy and connie bailey sheridan class of 1952 produced with family and friends the fourth annual donnybrook in the park an irish music festival on june 9 2007 in hanover illinois proceeds from the day-long event benefitted `the hanover main street project and `the riverridge music department patrick mullen class of 1968 received his phd in public administration from virginia polytechnic institute and state university in may 2006 a month later he retired from the u.s government accountability office and his wife maryann retired from the u.s department of labor he then joined the faculty at the university of illinois at springfield teaching graduate courses in public administration and policy with a joint appointment in the center for state policy and leadership where he serves on the executive committee and cabinet a brief bio is on the uis website at www.usi/edu amanda white class of 1996 received her phd and is now working at st louis community college meramec as a professor of sociology lisa jagoda peterson class of 1979 was recently declared a national board certified teacher in december 2006 by the national board for professional teaching standards lisa currently teaches at williams technology middle school in huntsville alabama where she resides with her husband tom and three sons brandon 20 alex 18 and casey16 captain usaf christopher jones class of 1991 completed a three year tour of duty in aviano italy in november of 2006 he accompanied his squadron on a 12-week tour of duty in iraq in the summer of 2005 where he flew in support of coalition ground troops he is currently stationed in korea at kunsan afb where he will continue to fly the f-16 fighter aircraft and begin studies for a masters degree in international relations christopher s wife sarah is living in freeport while he is deployed barbara fischer carlisle class of 1961 was recently honored at the quality of life awards luncheon for her effort to improve the quality of life in stephenson county barbara works as patient liaison at provena st joseph s center in freeport she started a program pairing aquin students and provena patients for visits she also created a monthly networking group to share information about how different entities work with the elderly and disabled kelly jones bishop class of 1987 is the discovery room
