musicfactorydjs o corporate events o weddings o 40ths o 50ths o 60ths o video djs o retro djs o all events call us now 0418 145 400 email us now info@musicfactory.com.au musicfactory interactive dj entertainment easy select classic hits 1950 to 2010 fantastic what makes a memorable event at the musicfactory we have found the most memorable events are those that are a lot of fun and a little bit left of centre what do we mean by this the background music which builds the atmosphere before dancing is made up of classic pop and rock songs not necessarily dance songs or slow background music and when it s time to dance instead of choosing songs like mamma mia and dancing queen which are done to death at every event throw in alternatives like waterloo or rock me which work just as well on the dance floor but have that oooh i haven t heard this song for ages lets dance effect that s not to say that every song that you choose has to be out there you need a good mix of old and new songs that are danceable and will work with the majority of guests at your event because we specialise in corporate events weddings and 40 birthdays we offer a much broader range of music selections from the 60s 70s and 80s than most dj companies we also have a wide selection of chart hits and dance music from the 90s and 00s our musicfactory djs don t play grunge techno hardcore chill hard rock trance electro-house hip-hop or rap as our last 12,000+events tell us that these music styles only cater to a minority of guests and they empty dance floors at just about every event let s have a quick look at the 4 distinct sections of a successful event every one as important as the next background music this is where you can make your event unique in the first hour guests are having a drink doing the meet and greet and catching up with old friends most dj s play background music cds at this time don t waste this valuable time use it to build atmosphere why put up with a boring background album when you can have for example she s not there by santana love generation by bob sinclar show me the way by peter frampton or free me by uriah heep forget the celine dion and play all summer long by kid rock time of your life by green day let s get it started by black eyed peas or the horses by daryl braithwaite see what we mean all great songs everyone knows them and you re creating the right early atmosphere for a successful event dancing this is where you select a wide range of dance music that your dj will collate into groups and use them to keep your dance floor moving make sure the songs you select are both danceable and recognisable by most of your guests your dj or vj may also add selections here to create a flow from one type of song to the next the last half-hour this last half hour is the most crucial part of your event this is where your dj gets everyone involved and builds your event to a final crescendo the music selection for this last half-hour is best left to your dj or vj generally it is retro-based party music which is known to all and sundry at your event typical examples would be rock this party bob sinclar highway to hell ac/dc u can t touch this mc hammer eagle rock daddy cool or new york new york frank sinatra to name but a few songs that end with a bang leaving your guests wanting more the final song your musicfactory dj or vj will always build one or two one more one more encore songs into the 10 minutes prior to the end of your event building your event to a climax yet still allowing your function to finish on time and satisfy the requirements of the venue have fun selecting your songs allow about 12-14 songs hour and remember this is only a fraction of the 80,000 audio tracks and 18,000 music videos we have in our library if your favourite selection isn t here email us and we ll track it down for you in our music library or you can bring it along on the day on cd format and we ll happily play it for you © copyright the music factory group australia 2010 all rights reserved memorable different fresh unique
