unlike zombies and skeletons creepers will not catch fire in direct sunlight meaning they can wander around unharmed any time of the day until it is killed the creeper will still be agressive at day underground or on the surface creepers will spawn at night and in dimly lit locations with a light level of 7 or less they are especially dangerous as they are almost completely silent except for footsteps and their hissing noises

a zombie is a hostile mob that closely resembles the player zombies spawn in dimly or lesser lit areas and will attack the player by slowly moving toward them touching them and therefore inflicting damage like skeletons zombies catch fire in sunlight villagers are constantly attacked by zombies at night-time but iron golems and players that live in npc villages will defend them.

the cave spider[1 is a hostile mob using the same model as the spider but with a blue skin color and smaller size 2 they are more dangerous than the regular spider but in turn they are much rarer than regular spiders cave spiders do not spawn naturally they only spawn from monster spawners found in abandoned mine shafts their small size 0.7 x 0.7 x 0.5 allows them to fit through spaces one block wide and just half a block tall including those created by slabs fence posts and two stair blocks facing each other cobwebs do not affect cave spiders.

a slime is a hostile animate green gelatinous hopping and relatively rare mob in the shape of a cube that appear in various sizes they are able to see the player through solid blocks when killed a slime will split into smaller slimes except for the smallest slime which will drop slimeballs instead slimes are found only in the lowest 40 layers of the overworld and only in certain areas slimes can spawn in flatland world types because its world generation level is 3 blocks above bedrock.

magma cubes are hostile mobs with dark red and black skin and red orange and yellow eyes found around the nether when killed they release 2-4 smaller versions of themselves in addition to experience orbs similar to slimes when they move they jump up and momentarily unravel into several layers giving them the appearance of a spring and revealing a molten lava core inside
