visiting performers kahurangi pupils enjoyed the performance on monday of the kahurangi performance group click the door opened and we walked into the hall it was so quiet that you could nearly hear yourself think the hall is usually quite loud before a performance we found our seat and we waited quietly for the rest of milson school to enter the hall i could see people moving in the back room suddenly a man wearing a flax skirt came out and turned the speakers on and the music started the rest of the performers came out and they began to act out a story of a maori legend a second of the stories was about a princess and a man who wanted to marry a princess but she was already married so at night when the princess and her husband were asleep the man crept into their room and lifted up the covers and released his gas the princess was horrified and told her husband to go away the princess and the man then got married my favourite part of the show was the poi dance because they were all in time and they had lots of skills i enjoyed the performance and i hope to see something like that again by matthew younger room 8 milson pride empathy/excellence at school singing last week the following pupils were acknowledged for either showing great empathy or excellence these were nominated by teachers in each room alysha vilivili duran lowe kimberley bellamy jackson bremnergiles ihaia tanirau cailtin sheard cameron stevens jessica gill tyla bailey caitlin payne genna kurene tiras te whata jaziah symons winter vautier thomas woods and saraya reiri well done to these milson pride pupils.
