cross-country training the morning tea bell rings i think cross country training darn it i hate cross country we even have was quick i say to myself the say go then i sprint and i need water anything the 10 year old girls have to start on the soccer field go up around an obstacle down the hill around the boundary of the school up david street down coronation road up bank street in the back alley way around the boundary again do the zig zag and cross the finish line as i come around the mushroom tree i can see all the kids that have already finished before me i am exhausted and tired i feel like a bird flying in the sky because i can t feel my legs it feels like my legs have fallen off i get a drink now its time for maths by tegan

cross country practice everyday every single day when i think of it i think `ugh puff stitch walk the works cross country practice hate it just for the record we have to go up the bank round a tree down the bank across the soccer field behind the trees behind the pe shed through the plantation round the round-about out of school grounds up the hill round the block in the alley-way and more all the time my feet are pounding arms swinging and chest heaving and i m not going to even think about the rest of the course it s to terrible by the time i ve completed the course my legs are throbbing my chest is about to explode and i m absolutely knackered when i m finished i collapse in a heap onto the muddy grass and yellow leaves my legs feeling like they re about to fall off my singlet and shorts are saturated my other school friends are doing the same as me.the bright red leaves are magnificent they really are the cool breeze is helping cool me down and after a few minutes i m back to normal and we head back to lunch sometimes i have to go through all that and then go to netball practice and by the end of that i can barely walk but cross country practice hate it by ruby

the rugby cycle im here coach as he writes my name down i have boots socks and every thing bottom to top i jog around the field to warm up the ref blows the whistle for a boot check all good i m fired up the whistle blows for the kick and i slam him to the ground and pick up the ball then the cycle starts run pow pass and try this cycle goes on until the final whistle blows we then have a player of the day and go home have lunch and rest that s my rugby cycle only with lots of mud and it is freezing cold matthew imms

flames vs purple on court three flames vs purple what were versing intermediate were probably going to loose my position is goal keep for the first half i can hardly go anywhere just up to the first line and in the goal circle the whistle blew first weve got the ball not for long a person from purple intercepts it but the ball rolled out of the court its still our ball its almost at the goal circle but purple hopped up and caught the ball and did a high long pass i leap pass intercept catch everything i started to get a bit agitated we were never going to catch the ball suddenly the ball was getting closer and closer to the purples goal they scored a goal the whistle blew then a cold gust of wind blew against me making me shiver my next position is wing defense the whistle blew its our ball center flames accidentally passed to purple i scurried out from behind my partner and intercepted the ball i threw the ball to flames we finally got to our goal and took a shot but it bounced off the hoop and purple grabbed it they got another goal and another one until the whistle blew well we tried our hardest but they still won at least we still had fun by nicole

saturday cricket game the game is at home and we re vs hamilton at wiseley park we are batting first i walk on the field and know i can bowl hit catch field everything i m on the pitch tap tap tap goes the bat the bowler starts his run up bounce swoosh the ball flies past me landing into the wicketkeepers hands he throws it back he bowls again bounce bang the ball hovers over the boundary the umpire puts his hands up its six hooray six runs for the team and me the coach runs on for a quick talk to me there is a big dent on the ball i really want to get off the field i am sweating to death i am on 18 runs he bowls i desperately want to get off he bowls i drive it for four 22 runs for me retirement im first bowler the umpire gave me a white ball i run up 10 metres from the pitch bounce knick he clips the ball but the wicketkeeper caught it but then drops it i bowl again splat the leg stump wobbles down ha ha ha everyone crowds me clapping my hands when they hit the ball the grass slows it down i hold the ball gripped and tight the crowd is cheering me on go go go go go and another wicket bang caught and bowled he s out i cant believe that i got 2 outs in a row on a hat trick and i keep bowling repetitively 2 overs later i get another out by caleb catching a very comfortable catch i bowl again the girl taps it into the middle wicket another wicket for me i love cricket two overs to go come on noah get another wicket i run my fastest but they smash it out for four thats not my best i have ever done and i m not happy i have one more bowl to go and i am seriously mad at this team even though they re easy i take a risk and try to swing the ball and it swings a little bit but enough to smash the off stump he s out by noah

i was taking a lovely stroll down my bumpy drive-way when two chirps whistled through my ear drum but they weren t the same one sounded like a high opera voice and the other sounded like a low horn but in a chirpy way then two small feathery black and yellow chicks lie helpless on the hard bumpy road i scurry to pick up the small chicks then i hear a thump thump thump and my young little brother levi comes breathlessly to greet me he gasped for a moment and didn t greet me at all but he saw the helpless little birds and asked politely if he could hold a bird i and gently handed him a flightless chick making sure that the flightless chick doesn t drop i steer into the monstrous sea green tree mysteriously wondering if its mother was worried sick i hugged the poor little thing then tottered back home in surprise that a wonderful day came to me my brother and i the lost birds slowly showed my mother and she calls for assistance and then some-one said they ve looked after birds for a long time we take the chicks to her house and she carries them inside and she tells us what bird it was me andl ev i we reconfused we thought they were hawk chicks but they weren t they were finch chicks she offered a cup of tea and welcomed us inside we say no thanks and we head of we had such a sensational and mind-blowing day the end
