school mission newtech s school mission is equip students with strong social and technical skills to produce graduates who are prepared for success in the 21st century workplace we intend on preparing the students for adulthood we are getting them ready for the future what is a `newtech national school a new tech national school is a school that is about technology we almost always work with computers and work in groups on projects this school also finds many new ways to introduce a project and allows the students to take it in easily this school is not easy you will really need to be on top of your game to keep up with the exciting things courses -algebra/geometry -physical science/biology -digital media/art -spanish 1 spanish 2 -advisory -world studies world history -american government

what is pbl `pbl stands for project based learning newtech is a project based school and instead of always doing paper work we are very hands-on and like to work with technology some projects that were really good were how would you vote genetics and industrialiation presentation they were all created by the teachers who make up real world situations and expect us to solve it principles at newtech the teachers expect professional behavior newtech goes by there is a time for work and a time for play this school is not all serious we like to get loose and have parties too we feel like in order to have priveldges like that you have to work hard and earn your fun for example every end of semester we have a big breakfast for the children who recieved honor roll or merit roll on their report cards the school also likes to have award ceremonies to congradulate students on their hard work and achievements respect everyone here make the right decisions and choices this school is all about preparing you for the real world.

why newtech newtech is a very technical school we mainly work with technology and hands-on projects it is a very simple yet challenging school sometimes it could test your own abilities in the classroom the teachers are wonderful sometimes at other schools they don t care if you pass or not but here the teachers are considerate and try their hardest to get you to move to the next grade you might stay a little later than most high schools but it s worth it you are allowed to stay after school and finish up any work and even do your homework even though you go to a different school you are still allowed to do extracurricular activities that don t have to be sports newtech offers robotics you learn a life skill and get to have fun and meet new people while you do it the classes are longer so you don t have to move around to a class every hour newtech is a very friendly and social school it s easy to get along with everyone including the teachers coming here would be a great high school experience!

history newtech history goes way back to the mid 90 s and all began in napa california newtech west goes back to last year we used to be under garrett morgan high school at s where it all began we are now working on getting our very own building for all of the west side students people were looking for a technological school for everyone ere is also a newtech east that s where we got our idea from is school is very successful we would not be here if it wasn t from bill and his wife melinda gates ey sponsored newtech with a 6million dollar grant we will never forget them at s why we try to make this schol better than any other.

here at newtech our sports are combined with max hayes high school the two schools come together to win and to work together there are many year-round sports to choose from the people on the teams are creative and you will always hear laughter we like to have fun but after we win a game go lakers sports -bowling -track -weightlifting -soccer -cheerleading -basketball -baseball -softball -cross country -golf -tennis -intramurals -swimming -volleyball batter up!
