summer youth missions it is time that we get ready to tell others about the hope that is in us we have been amazed year after year as the holy spirit continues to show up and radically change the focus and passion of young people as they encounter him they are filled with love for jesus and the world around them street invaders is about youth missions and ultimately walking into a deeper and more real faith adventure we are excited about the vision the lord has given us to take our two and three week programs into as many places in canada as possible we begin with a boot camp training experience for the part of the program that focuses on relevant discipleship issues and spending real quality time in god s presence and the word the last 2/3rds of the program is an amazing mission experience for the youth and their teams of 10 as they move forward to partner with hosting churches and bring a concentrated effort of sharing jesus love and message of hope to targeted areas or groups we run missions regionally nationally and internationally we want you to get involved if you want to grow in your faith and you have his love overflowing in your heart you need to consider this we have opportunities for people of all ages ­ especially youth from 13-19 yrs we need solid leaders for our teams and representatives to help link us up with partner churches for our missions we can work with you and your church to set up a mission or even to consider running a full program out of your facilities the time is now will you make yourself available to show jesus to the world teams international has been equipping young men and women to reach the world s youth since 1991 our philosophy is youth winning youth through the power of the holy spirit and the use of creative evangelism our program consists of 2 months of training and 5 months of travel we have teams that travel across canada as well as overseas each person is trained in sharing the gospel speaking evangelism team ministry and various subjects dealing with christian discipleship we have seen miracles of salvation healing deliverance and discipleship every year there is no question in our minds that jesus is vitally interested in seeing our youth and young adults involved and passionate about his great commission lifeforce www.lifeforceteams.com a new chapter in the lifeforce chronicles began in 2005 when a second training base was established in the uk designed to train teams to be sent out to europe africa and eastern canada it has brought the exciting opportunity of missions to the backyards of many british and european christians another exciting program under lifeforce uk is project gambia we are partnering with secondary schools for a 12 ­ week program about poverty and world awareness for the first 8 weeks a group of senior students staff and volunteers are educated about the definitions causes and responses to poverty by taking part in a number of interactive workshops case studies and discussions this is followed by participating in a poverty relief mission to the country of the gambia in west africa for one week they work in local schools and communities donating various educational and first aid supplies running activities for kids and experiencing first-hand what life i like in a poverty stricken nation upon completion there are 3 follow up sessions with the students to help them process their experience and use it to affect their future responses to poverty we ve had a very positive response to the project from schools and churches across the w midlands schools are now contacting us from as far away as australia to join in this program god is certainly at work www.streetinvaders.ca

one of the greatest needs in youth ministry today is for trained and committed leadership in our churches and ministries there is no question that everything rises and falls on leadership and this is very obvious in the area of working with students equipping was developed for the purpose of having localized 1 day training seminars which are inexpensive and open to as many people as possible we do training for both youth workers and children s workers on the same day in 2 separate areas of the same building due to the fact that the seminar is smaller it allows for everyone to ask questions get involved in discussions and have more of a personal training experience there are also free resources given out as well as other resources for sale at reduced rates equipping also does consultations with individual churches/youth groups to help them with transition problems to develop a vision for youth ministry in their community etc finally we are developing a resource base for youth workers where they can access training resources upcoming conferences etc ministries international limitless ministries was initially birthed to help with the establishment of a christian camp in rwanda africa the camp has been a great success and the lord has used it to see many of the students of the area around the camp won to christ each year a team of staff members from canada operate 4 camps for students and 1 camp for leadership god has used the camp in tremendous ways to touch the lives of many students the goal is for the camp to eventually be transferred into the hands of the local christian leadership and potentially to see other such camps started what a testimony jesus has shown that in a country once known for it s death life has begun afresh limitless is expanding into other areas of ministry as we speak and there will be further information on their website so stay tuned www.equipping.ca www.limitlessministries.com motivational media aymi is proud to partner with motivational media assemblies to bring powerful healthy lifestyle messages to the schools our nation motivational media assemblies mma is the most widely used drug-prevention and highway safety assembly program in canadian school history its award winning multi-media shows for k-12 students are designed to inspire motivate and challenge young people to make healthy choices and develop strong character they have been shown in over 12,000 schools with a student audience of 11 million mma shows provide inspiration to a culture where substance abuse violence and declining moral values bombard youth every day in canada underage drinking is one of the major youth drug problems and vehicle crashes are still the leading cause of death for teens motivational media provides presentations for school assemblies and campaigns that impact behavior change more than many local or state efforts we will be launching our partnership with motivational media assemblies as of september 2010 www.motivationalmedia.ca
