index special thanks to everyone this month we can look back on another great scala fair edition with many exciting features we managed to launch 500 new items from different leading brands while also introducing some new brands like fleshlight fashion accessories and besired on top of that we introduced a new initiative called the `scala academy where vendors got the opportunity to offer more information about the products the materials and also tell the customers how they can present the products for maximum benefit in their shops the most spectacular feature of the fair was the leg avenue fashion show which was presented three times a day with beautiful and sexy models showing a selection of the leg avenue collection all-in-all it s been wonderful to see all the vendors and customers visiting the scala fair and receiving positive feedback on another show well organised we are very thankful for the great support from our suppliers and we are thrilled with our customers who took the time to visit our show i also have to thank our team for their support and hard work to get everything done in time a lot of work goes into the preparations of the show we literally keep working until the last minute and it s great to see the results of a team effort behind the scenes we are already talking about the next edition of the scala fair and working on plans to create another spectacular show could it be possible that we are a little addicted to our own shows it s just so much fun to work together on such a great project i can t wait for the next show on 3-4-5 september 2012 please write it down in your diary because if it s up to the scala team we are going to prepare another great show in this edition you will find details on the products that were launched during the scala fair last month we hope to see you all again in september in the meantime we will keep you informed about all the new items that are released as they become available 22 scala news 28 splash 27 freshim/fresher 24 we-vibe retail kit rick zwaan head of product development 3
