specialists we have specialist homes that provide high quality nurturing care for boys and girls aged 10-18yrs these young people often have complex behavioural problems which can include criminal behaviour self harm absconding being verbally and physically abusive sexualised behaviour and attachment problems all of our staff are experienced in working with these damaged young people and are highly committed to helping them overcome their difficulties and assist them to go on to fully integrate into society at springfield road children s homes one of our biggest strengths is the family work that we do we feel that it is vital to build positive relationships with the families of the young people that we work with as this often helps us have a better understanding of our young peoples history this also helps our young people feel that all the adults caring for them are committed to their own outcomes.
