on february 11 2012 the gopher battalion had their 13th annual cadet military ball at the crowne plaza hotel in arlington tx the seniors and staff went through the receiving line to greet the vips the color guard posted the colors and they did a wonderful job then chaplain ralph smith gave the invocation to begin the dinner the battalion commander gave her remarks then gave the toast after the salad was served it was followed by dinner and our guest speaker pastor bill webb it was a great honor to have him as a guest speaker then we followed by the awards promotions door prizes and the royal court we had a special presentation by the gopher battalion armed drill team who did an amazing job after the colors were retired the favorite part for the cadets came dancing the cadets had lots of fun dancing and showing off their moves they even had their dance offs and freestyles before we knew it the dance was over and it was time to clean up and go home this years military ball was one of the best ones that we ever had will the 14th annual cadet military ball top the 13th annual ball we will have to wait and see royal court senior king and queen jonhathan elliot and alyssa arredondo junior prince and princess jeremy reyna and keyla damian sophomore prince and princess xavier castillo and xochitl sanchez freshman prince and princess rogelio vargas and jonna guerra
