mark cain and the santa ana by charlie sweetland one day a young surfer named mark cain was riding some big waves in the pacific ocean when suddenly a huge dusty strong wind called the santa ana came by soon he lost control of his board and crashed into some huge boulders he was stuck there for a few hours until a life guard saved him after an hour or so of being in the hospital they found out he had hypothermia and that he was paralyzed from the hip down the life guard went in to tell him the news at that moment he knew he couldn t do his favorite thing in the world surfing one year later he was in special walking gear although he couldn t surf he enjoyed watching and cheering his friends he also taught a group of kids how to surf.
