katie laessig science hr 4 1/30/12 the norther winds one day when i was riding my horse in duncanville texas a giant gush of wind came flying by i paid no attention to it because i was training for one of the texas horse shows riding horses was my life i loved western style i then put snickers my horse in the barn and went back inside my house the next day i was riding snickers and another gush of wind came flying by now i remembered the wind from yesterday and i was thinking maybe there was a storm coming then out of nowhere came another gush of wind i put snickers in the barn and went to my house i turned on the tv to the news and waited for the weather the weatherman said that a wind called the norther was coming apparently the norther is a cold strong northerly wind in the southern plain of the united states especially texas which results in a drastic drop in air temperature oh great i thought the weatherman said to stay inside with all the doors and windows completely closed i then turned off the tv and tried to go to sleep when i woke up everything still seemed normal i was about to close all the windows and doors but then i remembered snickers if i don t keep him warm he would freeze to death so i rearranged my living room and put plastic and newspaper all over the floor i then set out to go get snickers and bring him into my living room until the wind would pass as i was walking snickers back to my house another gush of wind came flying by again i started running pulling snickers along as soon as i got inside i shut and latched the door snickers being new to this environment wandered around and sniffed everything i then got him some hay and water to distract him a couple hours later i turned on the news the weatherman said the norther wind would blow through duncanville texas any minute now so i looked out my window and here came a gush of wind snickers jumped when he saw it i also jumped snickers and i sat huddled together the cold crept under crept the door and into the warmth of the house as it got colder and colder the more blankets i wrapped

katie laessig science hr 4 1/30/12 around us it was so cold i couldn t believe that it was colder outside i then started to doze off when i woke up it was about mid-morning i got up and looked outside it was back to normal hot texas i was glad i then took snickers back to the barn enjoying the warm air i went back to my house and put all my living room furniture back in place i thought to myself something s do come at random times in life picture from word clip art
