the exhibition the total area of the exhibition was 1624m2 traditionally the organisers devote special attention to the segmentation of the exhibition area for visitors convenience the exhibitions were clearly divided into two thematic pavilions food industry central pavilion and agriculture atrium hall and the outdoor exhibition area of uzexpocentre over 140 companies from the following 28 countries exhibited austria belgium china france germany greece hungary india indonesia israel italy japan kazakhstan latvia malaysia poland russia saudi arabia slovakia south korea spain sweden thailand netherlands turkey uk ukraine and uzbekistan of the total number of exhibitors 80 were international companies and 20 domestic producers this year the exhibition featured a german national stand for the first time which presented ten manufacturers including companies already wellknown in uzbekistan the participation of german companies was supported by the german federal ministry for food agriculture and consumer protection the stands of the embassies of poland and indonesia were also presented at world food uzbekistan 2011 the world food uzbekistan exhibition consisted of the following sectors foodstuffs beverages alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients for food products and beverages equipment for the food industry packaging and packing technologies filtration equipment and refrigeration and trade equipment the extensive selection of food products presented at the exhibition included oil and fat products rice flour pasta canned foods confectionery products ice cream sausages ready meals ingredients seasonings and beverages 4 11th uzbekistan international exhibition for the food industry · 29-31 march 2011
