asphericon technology state-of-the-art control technology the basis of the production process is a state-ofthe-art control technology developed internally by asphericon implemented in the cnc machinery it has the ability to simulate grinding and polishing operations grinding and polishing tools in combination with standard and in-housedeveloped grinding and polishing tools asphericon is able to produce aspherical components from small to volume quantities in four different quality levels database system all production parameters are digitally recorded in separate process files and automatically saved in an internal database system a full traceability of all process steps can be guaranteed measurement technology with the latest tactile and interferometric asphere measurement techniques a flexible production at the highest technological level is guaranteed.
