dear friends 2011 marks numerous milestones for me personally and the voice in the wilderness ministries amazingly 40 years ago at age 17 i preached my first sermon not only as a young preacher boy but truly a babe in christ having been saved just a few weeks then lord sparing on may 6 2011 my lovely bride and i celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary the lord has blessed us beyond measure thank you sister terry for your love faithfulness and partnership in this incredible journey after driving from maine to florida north carolina to california and texas to alaska i estimate we have now logged a million miles behind the wheel that does not count air miles in which the lord has given us the privilege to fly around the world several times terry and i have been on the road steadily now for 20 years during a four-year segment of this time we were driving over 60,000 miles a year the lord s grace and protection has been so evident after numerous near misses and two totaled automobiles i suppose age or should i say maturity gives a different perspective on the daily risks involved in the ministry this year the williamson s observe 15 years with the voice in the wilderness ministry quite frankly there have been abundant challenges yet the lord has protected and provided even in the face of satanic attempts to destroy this work your prayers and partnership have been so very evident the voice in the wilderness commemorates over 58 years of printing in 2011 and looking back to the founder s ministry we celebrate over 70 years of continuous service as i said this is a year of milestones for which we give our lord all the glory and praise thank you again for your friendship and generous support may god richly bless your service through his appointed time for each of us 72 hours non-stop kjb reading what will your church do happy trails for christ and souls ronnie l williamson isa 40:31 p.s i had the privilege of visiting with pastor patrick and the faith church family here we stand with their sign-up board for the three day round-the-clock reading of the kjb in honor of the 400th anniversary for more resources visit www.thevoiceinthewilderness.org ·3

the preacher s response to george h.w bush s request to billy to answer a question for the family billy some people say you have to have a bornagain experience to go to heaven mother here is the most religious kind person i know yet she has had no born-again experience will she go to heaven graham responded george some of us require a bornagain experience to understand god and some of us are born christians it sounds as if your mom was just born a christian the younger george w bush in later recounting this story says that he was captivated by billy and does state that graham explained to him one-on-one that salvation was by grace and not through good works which seems to this reader a great contradiction to the answer given to the gathered family just moments prior upon their return to their respective homes graham sent george w and laura a copy of the living bible taken from decision points by george w bush the kj bible says jesus answered and said unto him verily verily i say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of god john 3:3 wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned romans 5:12 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the lord jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that god hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved romans 10:9 for whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved romans 10:13 for by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of god not of works lest any man should boast ephesians 2:8 9 hillary rodham clinton was asked during the state visit by hu whether china was friend or foe to the usa she obviously avoided a clear answer with china described as america s bank the us now owes china $900 billion and constantly faces china s manipulation of currency and theft of intellectual property among many other violations yet it appears washington dc is powerless in dealing with china maybe obama can lavishly wine and dine hu into some more favors to sell us out even more to china public or government run schools continue to struggle with ever increasing problems in simple day to day operation what is so complicated about recess well it seems schools across america find recess not so academic you ask what is so complicated about recess schools have been forced to cut out recess because of the lack of funds did not dc and lotteries promise adequate money for school programs who would have thought schools needed extra money for recess but thankfully playworks comes along with the answer for only $25 thousand per year playworks will return recess to the school near you another benefit provided by playworks is trained personel that can handle all your playground arbitration and crisis management now we have the answer to those playground bullies for only $25k per year what a deal and recess is back but must the taxpayer you spend another 25k on top of dc s budget all that lottery and those certified teachers surely can handle recess without much of a strain continued on page 29 for more resources visit www.thevoiceinthewilderness.org ·5

the number 11 is used 24 times in the word of god after the 10th plague of the first-born exodus 12:29-30 came israel s passage through the red sea and the eleventh judgment upon the egyptians eleven often represents confusion and judgment there were eleven disciples because one had fallen in judgment the number 20 speaks of redemption comprising twice ten 10 represents responsibility i.e the ten commandments then 10 is twice 5 5 being the goodness and grace of god the first five books of the bible the pentateuch torah or law is the foundation of all god s revelation all we believe rests on the inspiration of the first five books of the bible so much more could be said to this point but the purpose is to say this five god s goodness and grace has brought us to a year 10 of great responsibility with opportunity of redemption 20 so then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of god therefore in 2011 a time of confusion and judgment 11 god s people are given p.14 opportunity to reject the confusion of modern bible versions embrace god s pure preserved word the king james bible or face the consequence a famine of scripture insued for p 14 2000 years as recorded in verse eleven of amos 8 sadly the land of revelation and incarnation became a land of famine in america and around the world pastors and churches choke on corruption when the word and water of life can satisfy that hunger and thirst yet in the name of the scholar and the dollar they wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the lord [niv nkjv esv nlt message etc and shall not find it meanwhile there is a mass exodus of young people embracing liberal churchianity searching for something to satisfy in that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst dear pastor get back to preaching and teaching the word of god the tried and true kjb 2011 urgent do you have a bible with roots in the catholic church of rome maybe you have not heard their claims according to catholics come home promotion the catholic church by the holy spirit we [catholics compiled the bible 6·the voice in the wilderness winter 2011 quarterly edition

sermon of the month a the least in lo-debar text ii samuel 9:3-8 nd the king said is there not yet any of the house of saul that i may shew the kindness of god unto him and ziba said unto the king jonathan hath yet a son which is lame on his feet and the king said unto him where is he and ziba said unto the king behold he is in the house of machir the son of ammiel in lo-debar then king david sent and fetched him out of the house of machir the son of ammiel from lo-debar now when mephibosheth the son of jonathan the son of saul was come unto david he fell on his face and did reverence and david said mephibosheth and he answered behold thy servant and david said unto him fear not for i will surely shew thee kindness for jonathan thy father s sake and will restore thee all the land of saul thy father and thou shalt eat bread at my table continuely and he bowed himself and said, what is thy servant that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as i am and the king said if god s people would simply obey what the king said this book is clear in his plan for our lives we preachers would be traffic directors for god s people as they moved in a steady flow of obedience to the king one would be serving here while we prayed for the next going to the regions beyond the message has been given but over and over again there is disobedience if we would but do what the king said please note in our text lo-debar was a place of no pasture therefore no shepherd one preacher said lo-debar was a place of no bread lo-debar was in gad beyond jordan near mahanaim just south of the sea of galilee this was a place of hiding for the crippled mephibosheth unto me who am less than the least of all saints in this grace 10·the voice in the wilderness winter 2011 quarterly edition

given that i should preach among the gentiles the unsearchable riches of christ eph 3:8 permit me to tell you the story of dakota and the cupcake dakota is a precious little 4 year-old boy removed from drugging drinking parents and placed in foster care the parents had done jail time and dakota was in the care of his grandparents sadly the aged grandparents were already caring for two older siblings and requested for dakota to be removed by dss and take custody of him and his sister this little child came from abusive parents padlocked refrigerator and closets stacked from floor to ceiling with booze fast forward a bit dakota is now in a loving christian home with security and food one day memaw bakes chocolate cupcakes for dakota and his sister seated at the counter with this delicious creamy chocolate cupcake that seems as big as the face of little dakota he takes a huge bite with chocolate from ear to ear dakota lifts his head and says um um um um um um um you would have to be present to capture the visual imagery and sound effects for dakota there was unspeakable pleasure in that single bite of chocolate cupcake um um um um um um um i am less than the least but the unsearchable riches of christ um,um,ummmm lo-debar was a place of no pasture therefore no shepherd lodebar was in gad beyond jordan near mahanaim just south of the sea of galilee a place of hiding for mephibosheth across the street and around the corner the world sits in lodebar without knowledge of the king and his kindness in lo-debar the world is crippled and cannot come the world is as a dead dog helpless repulsive no redeeming qualities church that s the mission to go to lo-debar with the king said we have record in ii samuel 9 of the king royalty one who even holds the power of life and death the enemy the house of saul church there indeed is an enemy to all that is good and right for more resources visit www.thevoiceinthewilderness.org ·11

the steward or servant ziba one to do the bidding of the king the lame or least of these in lo-debar mephibosheth the lost lame the least those who know not the king s kindness david had a covenant with jonathan but was unable to fulfill that covenant because of jonathan s death david evidently had knowledge that descendant s of saul and jonathan were still alive ziba a servant from the house of saul recognized that king david wanted to shew the kindness of god unto him mephibosheth ii samuel 9 records mephibosheth coming to the king with great fear and trembling there was an oriental custom in which rulers would slay the relatives of their predecessor to prevent future problems thus the fear that mephibosheth had of king david mephibosheth crossed the jordan river for the first time since his father had been killed in battle with the philistines mephibosheth had found a place to hide since he was unable to care for himself being a cripple over time he had married and now had a family of his own the servant ziba had faithfully kept the secret of mephibosheth s existence and where abouts apparently there were yet members of the house of saul that continued in opposition and resentment of david s rule most likely mephibosheth knew of this activity and feared that king david would do him harm yet the king promised to show kindness for jonathan s sake the king promised to restore all of saul s land and the king promised to take mephibosheth into his own house and feed him at the king s table for the rest of his life the servant ziba was made a steward for the restored estate of mephibosheth all the fruits of profit were to go to the family of mephibosheth i samuel 9:21 and saul answered and said am not i a benjamite of the smallest of the tribes of israel and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of benjamin probably a bit of false modesty on saul s part in order to influence samuel yet in ii samuel 9:8 mephibosheth bowed himself and said what is thy servant that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as i am the confession of the least of all was thy servant but not only a servant but a dog and not just a dog but a dead dog am i you must read p.14 12·the voice in the wilderness winter 2011 quarterly edition
