why are you applying for mcp 2012/2013 what will be your contribution and what do you expect to learn from the experience the experience i have had in aiesec has fostered passion in me about what can be achieved in this association i think that the great learning and development that members can experience in it hasn t been well exploited by many in order to transmit the passion and commitment for learning and developing i am sure the mcp role is the most important because the impact on members and society is much greater i want to contribute with tangible growth in organizational results and to start demonstrating our country s potential to become one of the most performing in the network all this focused in the development of talent in our members i would like to see an aiesec in mexico full of members eager to learn and develop what is leadership for you evaluate yourself as a leader and describe a situation where you had to lead others and the results of your leadership leadership is very much about directing developing and taking decisions for a group for me it also implies inspiring others to develop and grow by showing them how to do it and not doing it for them about what you get others to do not what you do by yourself for this commitment knowledge awareness of others and prudence are a must as i believe this is what a leader is i try to learn and do my best to become so i have been a leader in different situations of my life when i teach to students in my university and in romania i also was chief of the mexican delegation in three ilcs guatemala peru puerto rico during my term as mcvp we managed to develop new entities and finished the term with 2 new lcs 1 extension and 3 groups of interest during our term as mc gaga aiesec in mexico had an unseen growth in leadership and exchange performance in a special way when i was president of aiesec itam i tried to structure an lc that had low performing for the previous years i looked for education for my team and me in order to understand what we were going to do and how to do it i tried to develop commitment in my team and focus in results this was a personal success because we grew in organizational results more than 100 compared to previous terms we surpassed all lcs in mexico and became the only one to be part of the iberoamerican top 20 our growth was by far superior to the national growth!

strength in team management discipline i try my best to accomplish what i m determined to do and i foster my team to do so as well i try to be really clear about what s to be done who is responsible and when to achieve it i put myself to discipline first and then command it for others leading by example this is really helpful as mcp because i want my team to be aware of what are our goals and what we planned to achieve them and make sure that members in lcs know it as well then encourage them to perform not only by demanding it but accompanying and guiding them in the road weakness in team management sometimes i can get unmotivated if my team is not responding as i would like it to and for that reason i start to make their duties my own but this is a mistake i have been working on this year by showing people the real importance of the responsibility they have clarify their doubts and be sure that they learn how to perform it vision for aiesec in mexico 20122013 aiesec in mexico fosters the integral development of its members in order to potentiate excellence and leadership oriented to assure the quality of the experience we offer · promoting between the members partners and alumni the education motivation creation and active participation in different development opportunities · increasing and diversifying the strategic alliances that encourage development and · generating new strategies that position and promote our experience in sustainable markets that create mutually beneficial relations and position us as the main student organization that represents the youth leadership in mexico 3 achievements of the last 4 years of aiesec in mexico exchange financial legality consolidate legal status with the help of an external legal office for migration procedures and legal documents international prestige international representation of our membership in order to increase network learning from others and our county s reputation efficient recruitment it has increased the ability to recruit members nevertheless it is important to improve the channels we use to attract them and update the filters we use to accept them nicaragua and mexico 1 mid term expansion plan that includes as final objectives nicaragua full membership status and mexico exchanges partnerships and income revenues main activities responsible hr plan timeline of activities and budget 2 market analysis in order to know which universities can be partners and which organizations can become partners focus in the ones that have already a relation in mexico 3 strategic partnership start with the embassy ministry of economy in order our strategy to be aligned with current mexico nicaragua relations.

enjoy the achievement culture success has two main characteristics enjoyment and achievement achievement is about the purpose of our actions is about results about performance enjoyment is about pride satisfaction happiness celebration love a sense of well being all the joys of living personally i believe enjoyment in aiesec comes also from the personal and professional development you have in the association i would like our members to feel sucessful in this way by enjoying what they achieve i would split 3 drivers what we do four our members what we do for our stakeholders and what we do for aiesec in mexico in the long term quality sustainable growth per entity aiesec offers life changing experiences though talented leadership members and international exchanges quality is about assuring to fulfill our promise and our stakeholders expectations the planning of goals will be focused in increasing the lcs average performance not the national result as one this will switch the strategy to assure all lcs are growing at different rates but in a constant increasing direction as we continue to increase our performance in quality life changing experiences and we enjoy doing it then we can say our term is successful our members experience i identify a bottleneck in the lack of commitment and inspiration of the membership i think the lc s are not giving the expected results because their members aren t well committed because they don t understand the importance of their performance how to do it properly and the impact of their work i am sure that if we continue to support the lc s in education strategies planning tracking but especially in training in leadership development there will be a reasonable advance in the structure and organization of them therefore they will be more oriented to results and more efficient aiesec in mexico years to come we must assure we give results in our term but also consolidate the base for future development and performance that s why we must be aware of our legal obligations even so start developing mid term projects that really start positioning us as the main young people association in mexico if we achieve our goals and we enjoy doing it then the day is successful if our national strategy is based not in the total quantity of our goals but in the increase of lcs average performance each one as a separate unit we force ourselves to take action for each one of them and then we can achieve national growth with equivalent growth for each lc not just for some myaiesec.net analysis ranking report because success comes for all lcs not just for some because we all are aiesec in mexico t enjoyment achievement t work life balanced the leader in dual purpose learning de november 29th http www.worklifebalance.com/worklifebalancedefined.html ibídem.
