term 4 week 5 wednesday 23rd november 2011 our school vision to provide a platform which launches enables students to make their own limitless choices tena koutou katoa greetings to you all new office staff i would like to welcome mrs barbara wahle to our staff mrs wahle will be working alongside mrs roberts in the office on a part-time basis ag day awards certificates and trophies will be presented at assembly this friday 25th november all welcome to attend athletics awards this year we will have athletics trophies presented at friday assembly on 9th december athletics certificates will be presented at class assemblies on thursday 8th december at 1:30pm parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend these assemblies invitation to morning tea i would like to extend an open invitation to all parent helpers mrs barbara wahle caregivers and friends of the school who have supported or assisted our school during 2011 to office administrator join us at our special morning tea on thursday 15th december at 10:30am please come along so we can thank you for your support during the year to help us with catering please reply to the office thank you prizegiving change of date please note our prizegiving assembly will take place on friday 16th december starting at 9:30am all welcome this will be followed by a morning tea for year 8 leavers and their parents/caregivers at approximately 10:45am school bus the last day for the ohaupo school bus run will be monday the 19th of december 2011 there will be no local bus service on tuesday the 20th of december 2011 please could you make your own arrangements or notify the school if your child will not be attending school on 20th december sue mclocklan principal a warm welcome to gabriel and michala tuhoro richlyn s brother and sister they have joined mrs clarke s room 2 school year book for 2011 this has been created by some of the pupils at school during the electives programme the year book includes photos from throughout the year from sporting events to ag day there is a draft copy to view in the office if you would like to buy a copy please order and pay $15 by friday 2nd december cash or cheques made payable to `ohaupo school pta please include the student s name and room number on the front of the envelope any profit will go to the pta towards the purchase of new sports equipment wanted photo s of the junior school production for our yearbook email to the school office in jpeg format please st stephen s tamahere christmas festival christmas carol concert a group of ohaupo school carol singers brass and guitar players will be performing at a christmas concert `carols in the church at st stephen s church in tamahere on wednesday 14th december 2011 we will be performing at 11am so put it in your diary now and come along to get into the christmas spirit week 5 friday 25th nov 9am assembly room 4 presentation of ag day trophies and certificates week 6 monday 28th friday 2nd dec room 7 camp wednesday 30th nov room 5 first aid course thursday 1st dec last bible in schools for this term capenwray students will be performing a show in the hall week 7 monday 5th december room 6 first aid course tuesday 6th december pet afternoon 1:30pm thursday 8th december class assembly for athletics certificates at 1:30pm friday 9th december year 3 4 sleepover week 8 monday 12th december swimsafe lessons every day this week for rooms 2 2b 3 bot meeting 6:45pm wednesday 14th dec christmas festival 11am thursday 15th dec parent helpers morning tea 10:30am friday 16th december pta disco 9:30am prizegiving assembly 10:45am year 8 morning tea phone 07 823 6736 fax 07 823 6732 email office@ohaupo.school.nz
