october 2011 you to help the environment jobs they do are recyclers bringing the recycling to the dumpsters helping clean the front of the school planting/taking care of flowers which will be sold near end of the year occasionally they clean the tanks that you can see at the back of the 200 wing and other jobs that need to be done a typical day starts when you walk in there is a snack left out and you can get one a drink and chat then mr tuttle comes in and asks for volunteers for the different jobs finally everyone does their job until they re done or it s time to go environmental club meets every other tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 in room 412 if there are any other questions you can ask mr tuttle chamber chorus by kyle dwight chamber chorus is run by mr greene one of the chorus directors a member dominic scotti says it includes performances like the one at the state house my favorite song is africa i hope to have more performances the performances were random but were a lot of fun chamber chorus is in a calm environment that will improve your singing voice and learn music scales chamber chorus has 20 to 30 people some of them have been there for three years chamber chorus is open to 6th 7th and 8th grade students if you re interested in joining talk to mr greene necaps by sue donym and anon e mouse everybody dreads the necaps for obvious reasons all the other kids in higher grades tell everyone the horror and torture to expect come october but i can tell you firsthand that many of the stories you hear are completely untrue the necaps are not so bad they are far from fun but unlike many other quizzes that are just as hard as the necaps the necaps 1 by dominic scotti have you ever wanted to help the environment did you ever want to help keep the environment clean well look no further the environmental club allows october 2011 rms times

are over in a week or two and only last 45 or so minutes that s not so bad kindles by dakota archambault and josie carter are you sick of flipping pages in your book well i have a solution to your problem the library is loaning kindles to rms students each student will be able to keep the kindle for up to 3 weeks it doesn t matter if you are looking for a scary book an easy to read book a non fiction book or any other book you would like to read the kindle has it all but before you get a kindle you have to stop by the library to get a parental permission form the library only has 6 kindles so stop by as soon as you can the kindles are amazing you can start getting them out of the library in the beginning of november i hope you will go and check one out to see how awesome they are through the night a welsh folk song alouette a french canadian folk song home on the range by daniel e kelly and symphony #9 by ludwig van beethoven tuesdays are all band days for the morning classes personally i think there are some pretty wacky trends here at rundlett they are just plain weird it s kind of like the jelly shoes in the 90 s some of them are · · · feathers in your hair duct tape bracelets one star converse i personally think it is just ridiculous i mean why use duct tape as a bracelet or why put a feather in your hair because i know a lot of people who think they look like birds i will be interviewing kids who are a part of these trends and i will ask them questions such as when did you start doing these trends when do think this trend will stop how many people do you actually think are doing this trend etc go to converse.com and design your on converse band is starting up for r.m.s the practice for each instrument for the sixth grade is monday is flutes tuesday is trumpets/baritones wednesday clarinets thursday is saxophones and friday is percussion if anybody in band has any questions please contact mr cohen some music the sixth grade band is playing is all 2 october 2011 rms times

· times tips by hannah miller hi everybody my name s hannah i m a 7th grader in cluster 7-1 my article today is going to be about two things halloween safety tips and some cool costume ideas i know i ll get the halloween safety thing done first ahem cue droning voice there are several things to be careful of on halloween for instance trick-or-treaters or not carrying glo-sticks/flashlights may be in hazard of getting hit by cars which would be a very bad thing i hope so here is a small list of things you should check for when venturing out the door on october 31st in your costume to beg candy from your neighbors · make sure you wear bright colors if you don t have bright colors on carry a flashlight/glo-stick or reflective stickers they re usually available at most hardware stores and it s pretty easy to get your hands on some · don t actually go into anybody s house doors only · don t go down dark unpopulated roads you should have a parent with you unless your parents let you go without them and then you should trick-ortreat with a friend it s actually more fun to be with a buddy than to go alone · dress weather-accordingly if it s going to rain you can just carry an umbrella if you really don t want to wear a poncho or a raincoat that concludes my halloween safety section now i get to write down some costume ideas here s a list of the costumes i ll do · ghost 3 october 2011 pasta yes pasta you d be surprised by the costume ideas you can find · vampire recipe for a ghost costume you will need · white dress or white pants and shirt · white or gray hair dye the spray-on non-permanent kind optional but it improves the costume · ghostly white makeup found at most halloween stores · black dress/formal shoes no sneakers · black/white nail polishoptional · red watercoloroptional take the dress use the red watercolor if you are using it to make fake bloodstains on the dress or pants and shirt dry the clothes put on the clothes and shoes tuck a dishcloth or paper towel over your shoulders and spray on the hair dye hold it away from your head and turn your hand from side to side in sweeping motions take off the dishcloth then put on the makeup and nail polish ask a friend to do the makeup if you like be careful not to spill on your clothes your ghost costume is ready rms times
