are you going to heaven that s a question many people wonder about if you re a christian then you know the answer you must have salvation which is a free gift when we receive god s forgiveness through a personal relationship with and a faith in jesus christ rom.6:23 we enter into this relationship by confessing that we have sinned and fallen short of what god asks and we believe in jesus christ as lord and savior following god s law is very difficult and something most can t do on their own it is too easy to stray from the correct path if we live as the world does it is important to have christian friends around to help you stay on the path in rom.10:9 we re told that if you confess with your mouth jesus is lord and believe in your heart that god raised him from the dead you will be saved in rom 10:10 we then read for it is with your heart you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth you confess and are saved your salvation if we read on we re told in verse 13 that everyone who calls on the name of the lord will be saved once we have salvation then there are a few laws we want to follow in order to please god we all know the ten commandments and we re told to stay away from adultry drunkenness homo-sexuality and to do good and share with others in their time of need nobody said it was an easy path to follow which is why we need christian friends to hang out with remember all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god gator alley chaplain jerry mason public relations ad executive for the people who are unaware of the accident that claimed the life of janine becker she was from estero court was held on october 20th in ft myers for stephen brown he is the one who hit both doug mcgill and janine becker mr brown was only charged with careless driving and driving a vehicle in an unsafe condition civil infractions vice president crabby ethel pastor jerry and i attended the hearing along with southwest chapter estero and caloosahatchee chapter mr brown was found guilty of both charges total fines $1500.00 and 6 months lost of license this was the max that the judge could give by law we are still waiting to see if another charge may be coming forth it is cases like these that the law has to be changed we were there to support janine becker s family but they gained nothing but our love and respect this kid walked get behind a bill that will stop this make calls or e-mail also call our people in tally on the ad side marti of solo salon thanked us for using her salon she is taking out another ad that is what we need remember that christmas is just around the corner so use our ad people for gifts gift certificates are great have a great thanksgiving keep the rubber down sach page 8 www gatoralley.net

october sunshine report the brooks family sympathy for the loss of their long time family member and pet buddy all of us critter folk know how hard it is to say goodbye to our fur-babies but can find comfort in knowing that we gave them a happy loving safe home to one of god s creatures that always believed that their purpose in life was to give us joy and unconditional love james hall son of treasurer angel and grandson of president mark of estero river chapter get well card for his shoulder surgery this young buck managed to break his shoulder in 3 places while playing football yet his youth and great physical condition is helping him recover so that one day he may continue with his jrrotc and sports goals i think we should keep an eye on this kid he s gonna be one of the good ones michele huscher thinking of you card after her surgery i had to give her hell because this is the 4th card i have sent her in one year two celebratory two recovery come january 1st she should be exempt from all bad luck for all of 2012 barb bachelor wakefield and family sympathy for the passing of tommy her husband and soul mate of 23 years past president and an essential part of gator alley s foundation his memorial service was well attended by many of the people he touched with his superb kindness sense of humor dedication to family friends and work he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor many years ago that slowed him down but never stopped him from living the best life he could and embracing those around him being at his memorial just reminded me that everyone leaves a footprint when they go and our job is to continue the good that they gave to us while they were here best wishes to barb and the family and we are so glad that she was able to attend a couple of events these past few weeks you are one very special lady miss barb we are lucky to have you as a member and your students are lucky to have you as their teacher god bless you larry clay a get well card as he is still dealing with some health issues that keeps sending him to the hospital from his perspective bein sick is just a pain in the ass and just disrupts his day but we hope that he will find a solution that works so he can get well and get on with it wayne jenkins former commander of our vfw a thinking of you card as he will be going in for open heart surgery on november 3rd will keep you posted as to how everything turns out unfortunately we have had to send him a few cards this past year so hopefully this surgery will clear up some of his health problems and he can get back to enjoying the vfw from the other side of the bar updates cadillac and marilyn cadillac was able to attend the meeting after some healing time but is still a bit tender from remembering how bad it hurt to break the same shoulder the first time 30 years ago compared to coping with it now he fully understands that youth has it s advantages the great news is that marilyn is out of rehab and healing at home with cadillac as her apartment is on the second floor with no access to an elevator the bad news is she may find out that he is really hard to live with her therapists are extremely happy with her progress and see her doing well after a long steady program of rehab and tlc she can t put any weight on it for some time but a slow heal is a complete heal so we will be cheering for you all the way they have received much love support food visits emails and cards from all that love them but we all know that they would do the exact same thing if it was any one of us let the healing continue and may god give them all the patience they need when someone leaves the toilet seat up hey hey hey let s all give a cheer our good ol pappy is cancer clear whoo hoo how about that folks that ol bugger is blue twisted steel okay so the beer industry might have suffered a little bit but we will take this great news and thank the good lord for making sure that pappy is around to keep us all in line xoxo sweet pappy side note there were 2 bikes that went down on the corner of golden gate blvd and wilson blvd while neither of those men were abate members i had several calls/texts/emails as to who went down which goes to show you how many members are paying attention i have always said that metal and paint can be fixed but these victims were husbands dads uncles boyfriends sons friends to families that loves them and we all know how it feels to get word that one of ours just became the topic of the 6 o clock news i will be happy to send a card if someone would assist with the proper information but if i sent out a card to everyone who needed one there wouldn t be enough ink and paper in the world the best we can do is to be good and kind to each other when we are out on the road and help when we can abate of florida is only one group in collier county and even though we are flawed we are sewn together with the best of intentions thank you to debi reinbold for that awesome quote we are now getting into the holiday season and i hope that everyone in gator alley is able to be surrounded by the ones they love even if they aren t bound by blood i know that my family is 3500 miles away but god saw to it that i had ya ll to pick up the slack so my holiday question to this group is if godzilla had a son would he be named jesuszilla i ll let ya think on it a bit respectfully submitted margo fuoco page 10 www gatoralley.net
