totara we had a great 3rd term working hard in the classroom and at gymnastics and we hope that you have had a look and a listen to the poetry on our class page if you haven t you d better be quick it will be gone by the end of this week coming up this term are many really important dates that you need to be aware of most were included in the term planner that was sent out at the end of last term however some events have only been confirmed since then some dates to watch out for are 2 november year 8s on retreat at blue skies led by the catholic youth team wear mufti bring pencil case a hat lunch and water bottle meet mrs arthurs at blue skies at between 8.50am and 9am the day finishes at 3pm year 7s are at school in uniform and will enjoy a retreat day with mrs coleman 24 november summer sports tournament more details to follow 2 3 6 december skate school 13 december year 8 dinner 14 december final mass prize giving term four newsletter our musical production our musical production is held on two evenings 29th and 30th november all children must attend both performances for our part we need to be dressed as sailors old sailing ship style so if you could help your child out with suitable clothes that would be fantastic following the learning conferences with you and your child last term i implemented homework sheets for those who requested them the return of completed sheets from the children has generally been poor so i will discontinue this now your child is expected to undertake reading and maths each night and spelling if this is needed kind regards pamela arthurs a question of balance how high can you go the favourite part!
