May Events The Ministry of Education along with the National Book Council of Malaysia (MBKM) are organizing the Kuala Lumpur International Book Festival. Transportation in KL Rapid Bus (rapidKL) Rapid KL’s public transportation network includes Rapid Bus, the largest bus operator in Malaysia operating mainly in urban areas such as Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. TRANSPORTATION KL Hop-On Hop-Off KL Hop-On Hop-Off or KLHOHO is a fun and easy way to explore KL al fresco, as you can sit on the open rooftop deck of the double-decker bus while enjoying pretty sights of the city with breeze rushing through your hair. It is a relaxing and enjoyable experience worth trying when you feel tired of walking. The bus stops at various places so visitors can hop-off to take a closer look to some of the best attractions around Kuala Lumpur and hop-on again to discover more places around the city. It has 23 stops which cover more than 40 attractions. The interval between buses is around 20 to 30 minutes. All of the buses are equipped with nine different languages to choose from with a friendly customer service officer who will assist you throughout the ride. Tickets can be purchased in the bus, from authorized agents, authorized hotels, KL Hop-On Hop-Off counters or from their website. Ticket counters can be found at Jalan Bukit Bintang, Malaysian Tourism Centre at Jalan Ampang, KL Sentral and Central Market. Tickets are available under different rates and period of availability. You can purchase a 24-hour ticket or a 48-hour one Transportation in KL that can last you for that respective amount of time so that you can explore the city on a more flexible time to suit your pace. Painted in white with green and blue stripes, Metrobus is popular among the city folks for when they need to get around the city with ease. Sometimes the schedule is not fixed but the service is pretty reliable as it covers most parts of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Below is the latest route for Metrobus effective 1st December 2015.
