general information locog contact makis peppas email taekwondo@london2012.com tel +44 030 2012 1385 language english entry fee there is no entry fee for participating nations in the london prepares event all that is requested is for accommodation to be booked via locog to guarantee participation and attendance accommodation official accommodation is offered at the hotels listed below the room rate is per room per night all room rates include a daily continental breakfast and uk vat 20 and transport you will need to pay for your own accommodation however locog will book this for you at our official hotels once registration forms are completed an invoice will be sent to you direct from the hotel and you are required to pay 100 of the accommodation cost before your place at the event can be guaranteed cancellations changes cancellations must be given in writing refunds will dependent on the local hotel policy however it is likely that no refund will be possible for cancellations made after 21st october 2011 please email taekwondo@london2012.com with any cancellations or change requests name changes same category and division will be accepted up to 72 hours before the event without any additional charge locog should be informed about changes in the travel programme at least 72 hours prior to arrival if your arrival is later than your original schedule the room charges will start from the original date indicated by the member association on their accommodation reservation form airport transportation member associations will need to book and pay for their own international and national transport but locog will provide airport transfers to and from heathrow airport only transport from the airport will start three 3 days before training begins and will end on the day after the end of competition the accommodation fee includes all airport transfers transport will also be provided between the official hotels and the competition venue on each day of competition where necessary hotels located on the excel site will not require transport as they are a short walk from the competition venue insurance you must ensure that each competitor and team official has medical insurance and travel insurance for the event we will not be providing medical insurance or travel insurance for any competitor or team official media rights by competing in the event all competitors teams and team officials grant locog and the sponsors and broadcasters of the event the right in perpetuity to make use process edit store or sell any photographs video television audio material or other reproductions of the competitors teams and/or team officials during the event without the need for further consent and without the payment of royalties contact information for further information on any aspect of this event please contact andrew link or makis peppas using the email address taekwondo@london2012.com ~3~
