School Improvement Plan 2017-2018 Beginning of Year Report Due: September 9, 2017. School Name Mount Pleasant High School School SMART Goal: By June 2020 100% of our teachers will be trending in a positive direction and/or meet/exceed expected growth according to EVAAS growth data. Aligned District Goal: Place an “X” next to the aligned district goal. Goal 1: Every student in the Cabarrus County School system will graduate from high school prepared for work, further education, and citizenship. X Goal 2: Every student will experience a personalized education in the Cabarrus County School system. Goal 3: Every student, every day has excellent educators. Goal 4: CCS has effective and efficient financial, facilities, and technology systems, as well as community. Goal 5: Every student is safe, healthy, and responsible. All non-EOC teachers will support the concepts of learning integrated in the Biology, English 2 and Math 1 curriculum All teachers will use research based student engagement techniques to improve student achievement. The Attendance Clerk, Data Manager and Assistant Principle will work together and assist the SIT with the attendance competition that will take place weekly and over a nine-week period. Staff will be taking accurate period attendance to account for perfect period attendance The MTSS team will work with the SIT to provide rewards for perfect attendance.
