Dear Friends: Five days a week, The Voice in the Wilderness presents “Biblical Alert” - a hard-hitting, issue-oriented, radio broadcast and Podcast. Scripture gives us as believers “ALL” we need to be equipped against the powers of darkness. However, are we as Preachers and Parents teaching “ALL the counsel of God”? (Acts 20:27) Has this “Politically Correct” and Pulpit Scholarship” kept us from giving out the truth of God with practical application just as Christ did with His parables and teaching? The following verses on page 4 are powerful exhortation to hold the standard high Biblically and practically in our lives. Take time to read and study these verses and apply the Biblical truths in your life. Also, if you have not already, listen to the three-minute Biblical Alert at our website, www.thevoiceinthewilderness.org. For Christ and souls, Ronnie L. Williamson Isa. 40:31 Happy Trails! 2•The Voice in the Wilderness - October 2017 Virtual Edition

The Greek word for “answer” is apologia. We get our English word apologetics from this Greek apologia meaning a convincing defense of Biblical faith. As believers, we are admonished to confront the confusion of darkness with the light of God’s powerful life changing WORD! May the Lord help us Preachers and parents to equip our young people to stand in these perilous times. I Peter 1:13-25 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with 4•The Voice in the Wilderness - October 2017 Virtual Edition

corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. I Peter 3:15-16 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. IS GOD’S WORK IN YOUR WILL? “One of the most important documents a man ever signs is his Will. I can tell better what a man had in his heart by reading his Will than I can by reading his obituary. His obituary tells the world what his friends thought of him; his Will reveals what he had in his heart.” - A. M. Vollmer For as (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he- Proverbs 23:7. Out of (the heart) are the issues of life - Proverbs 4:23. A bequest in your Will to The Voice in the Wilderness, Inc. can assure that the outreach of this ministry at home and abroad will continue after you have gone to your eternal reward. Prayerfully consider us in your Estate Planning. Thank you!

Where will the next generation stand if they have no absolute Truth? The dollar and the scholar are attempting to remove The King’s Authorized Bible from churches across this land. Not very long ago the devil’s crowd removed prayer and the Bible from the classroom. Students could not pray in the name of Jesus. God was out and in rushed evil. The Ten Commandments were banned. Today, we have preachers in the pulpit that say there are errors in the Bible. They keep trying to print a new Bible to fix the old Book. There are hundreds of these fixed versions. They just can’t seem to get one right. Then there’s that music. I’m hearing stuff I use to listen to before I got saved. Mercy, we sure don’t need that worldly stuff in the Church.

Way of Life Literature gives us some help on this: Dan Lucarini, former contemporary worship lead- er, also says that the slide toward CCM begins with soft rock. In the book “Why I left the Contemporary Christian Music Movement,” he explains how that he led churches from a sacred music position to a contemporary position, and it was all about incrementalism. He did it in gradual steps, THE FIRST BEING THE ADOPTION OF SOFT ROCK. The fact that rock and roll has always been about thumbing your nose at authority and doing your own thing is 180 degrees contrary to the Biblical faith, and this is one of the many fundamental reasons why I reject rock and roll in every form (hard or soft). This attitude is godly, solidly Scriptural reason that will stand up at the judgment seat of Christ. Remember the Bible Project as we continue to send the Scriptures into Colombia and Venezuela!
