Bolivar Road School “The Address for Success” November 2017 Principal’s Monthly Message October was very productive for all of us here at Bolivar Road. Our scholars have adjusted well to their new classrooms and are working diligently to meet all of the new expectations that their guardians, for all you have done to make this transition successful. new grade level requireSs.epTtheamnbkeyr/oOuc,tpoabreern2ts01a5nd Our One School, One Book Breakfast at Darlene’s Diner, Barnes & Noble Book Fair, and Library Night at the Sullivan Free Library to celebrate the book,The Chocolate Touch were so much fun. Many families came out to enjoy these events. Thank you to all of you who attended, as well as for all who purchased books at the Barnes & Noble Book Fair. Please remember to review the importance of good behavior on the bus with your child. It is so important for students to stay in their seat and keep their voices down. Many times students jump from seat to seat, try crawling under the seats, or lean over the seats to talk to others. All of these actions are very dangerous while the bus is moving. Reminding your child that this is not ok is very helpful to us. Parent-Teacher Conferences are on November 13. If you have not scheduled a time with your child’s teacher, please contact him or her to do so. Your input and support towards your child’s education is the key to their success. All of us here at Bolivar Elementary wish our scholars and their families a Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving recess begins on Wednesday, November 22. We hope you enjoy some restful and quiet time with family and friends. Ms. Burgess Bolivar B.E.A.R.S.
