Russian IT market: consolidated revenue of the annual rating participants which are major Russian IT companies CNews100 amounted to 20.4 bln US dollars in 2016. It grew by 15.5% compared to 2015. Revenue mix of the rating participants in the IT market1: 20% Equipment supply 14% Software sales 3% Equipment production 2% Other Software development 21% IT services 40% According to J’son & Partners Consulting’s estimates, in 2016 the Russian market of mobile devices (smart phones and mobile phones) amounted to 37.2 million devices: • 26.4 mln smart phones (71%) • 10.8 mln mobile phones (29%) 4.4% growth compared to 2015. According to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the volume of telecommunication services in Russia grew by 1% in 2016 and made up 28.9 bln US dollars. The main market driver in Russia is the ERA GLONASS System whose devices have been installed in each car sold in the country since January 1, 2017 (over 1.5 mln cars per year). The volume of sales held in internal and external markets amounts to about 1.2 bln US dollars.
