CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS • CID started 2016 with 6 full-time detectives. Due to promotions and transfers, CID is down to 4 full-time detectives and a part-time detective. • CID is currently doing compliance checks on 68 sex offenders. • CID has seen an increase in web-based investigation. CID completed 90 digital forensic downloads in 2016. This is 22 more than in 2015. • CID has also seen an increase in property crimes.

TRUCK REGULATORY • Officer Tim Jokerst – Made 143 Truck Regulatory stops – Responded to 128 accidents – Initiated 374 traffic stops – Responded to a total of 998 calls – Generated $84,150.00 in over-weight fines – Instrumental in implementing the municipal over-weight permit system – Generated $245,572.00 in over-weight permit sales
