abate of florida inc gator alley chapter state delegate meeting f from the state delegates reminder to everyone that we are r hosting the december state meeting at h the comfort inn on 951 collier blvd t dec 11th it will be a great chance for d you to attend a state meeting and y see how the corporation operates s you can also meet our state officers y and members of other chapters a we encourage everyone to w attend gator alleys december meeting as we will have the newly revised corporate bylaws to hand out so everyone can review them we will discuss them and vote on them in our january meeting the vote will be to accept or reject as presented our delegates will take the chapter vote to the state meeting in febuary and vote accordingly please remember that if there are a few areas in the new bylaws that are not agreeable the vote should be for acceptance with a chapter approved request for amendment filed at the next state meeting take the time to look them over before the january chapter meeting thank you state marie ratcliff state delegate gator alley state meetings december 11 2010 gator alley february 12 2011 open april 10th 2011 tallahasee page 6 abate of fla inc · gator alley chapter[close]

abate of florida inc gator alley chapter presidents report hey everybody is it cold enough for ya my goodness its been chilly hope this finds everyone well not a whole lot goin on yeah right by the time this gets out the state meeting may be over but we have the bykes for tykes run comin up on the day of our dec chapter meeting dec 19th 11am first bike out maybe we can hook up a little later after our meeting sorry i wasn t at our last chapter meeting i want to thank teach for running the meeting in my place thanks buddy the heritage run went well and i am sure those folks appreciate the socks the tv thanks secret santa company and the company f everyone who and the company of everyone w made it down there we will all be old eventually so rememveryone ber that we will have to depend on someone somewhere down the road be nice to your kids it may depend on where they put you lol don t forget on jan 1 it is dolphin run jan 2 it is the swamp to the city run feb 5 we are gearing up for the jamboree at harley davidson heidi is making preparations for the casino run i know this is very short but just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year and yes we can still say merry christmas in our newsletter gator alley vice presidents report w wow can you believe it it is already december i hope all had a great thanksgiving again i would like to thank lynn and crabby for all of their t work they done for the run gobble it was a great success delivering w the cards to this year s recipients was an absolute humbling experience t this was made possible for all who attended the ride earlier in the month t i would like to extend my great appreciation for all gator alley members it is because of you that we are 521 strong i know many of you have other commitments during our membership meetings and/or events however it is appreciated that you support us by being a member again thanks to all gator alley members a ok it is that time for name that song first november s s winner was paul partway evans he was first to name deep purple s song highway star now go the section labeled teach s song of the month for this month s clue good luck st n th ti l remember you need to be the first to contact me with the artist and the name of the song if you think you have won make sure you attend the general membership meeting that month remember life s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a pristine well-preserved body but rather to skid in sideways totally used up and worn out shouting holy sht what a ride i guess that is it for now remember i know you are thankful for someone make sure you let them know if anyone has any questions information or comments that you would like me to bring to the board meeting just email me be good ride safe and have fun teach page 10 abate of fla inc · gator alley chapter[close]

abate of florida inc gator alley chapter 11/28/10 general membership meeting minutes vice president called the meeting to order at 11:03 am please stand for the pledge of allegiance moment of silence several board members excused the song of the month was highway star by deep purple winner is paul evans teach asked guest new member to stand and be recognized secretary motion by lynn seconded by mark to accept the minutes as printed in the newsletter treasurer scarlet gave the balance bike tickets to be turned in by the state meeting membership report denise 521 members she passed out membership cards and year pins legislative lynn she gave background information on garrett richter abate of florida did very well in the november elections see full report in newsletter safety director frizz he s waiting for his certificate he has signs and safety poster if interested state delegate marie reminded everyone to attend the state meeting meet our state officers at our december meeting we will have the newly revised corporate by laws to hand out and review p.r ginny has all of gator alley s functions listed on bikers post biker not facebook so gator alley is covered products debi we have short long sleeve shirts now available she thanked scarlet for picking them up quartermaster rambo he s got nothing special events heidi heritage run next weekend the party after will be at brad s house secret santa got them a 32 inch led color tv we need socks for the residents at the health care center webmaster lockdown has web site updated print out flyers for abate bike week campground and help to promote this sunshine margo sent out get e-mails and cards old business run and gobble lynn thanked crabby and all the workers at the stops 76 signed in and we raised over $700.00 after insurance we purchased 11 gift cards swamp buggy lynn thanked everyone who helped out with the ticket sales and the bar we will receive $700.00 for helping out we will be doing this event in january march state meeting frizz still needs a couple more volunteers will be meeting at the hotel on thursday the 9th at 7:00 pm to cover the last minute details swamp to the city run scarlet said it s a go everything s ready jamboree bill it s february 5th at the harley dealership flyers and paper work ready for state the first meeting will be december 8th at 7:00 pm at the vfw new business casino run heidi no date set yet good of the order mark williams from estero river wanted to thank roger and gator alley for there support in there pilgrims pride run there birthday party december 4th darlene all out cycles inc is going out of business jim invited everyone to his news years party starts at 7:00pm kent invited all to the bike for tikes run december 19th starts at naples moose lodge at 11:00am last bike out 12:pm last bike in at 3:00pm frizz made a motion seconded by rick that gator alley donate $100:00 to bikes for tikes run lyle cancer survivor thanked margo for her emails and cards and everybody for there prayer and support b.o.d meeting december 16th the chapter meeting december 19th 50/50 david boice t-shirt went to rick motion to adjourn by mark seconded by lady harley at 12:10 pm respectfully submitted page 12 secretary s report gator alley ethel l abin abate of fla inc · gator alley chapter[close]

abate of florida inc gator alley chapter november sunshine report west coast chapter member carl carlson and his passenger margaret parker a get well email to the chapter for a bike accident caused by a neglegent driver taking a left hand turn in front of the bike both were sent to the hospital but are expected to recover the need for education and awareness extends to every driver across the state the family of mark tiny metcalf a member of the moose riders in hilsboro county he was also killed on his bike due to a neglegent driver his brothers and sisters were greatly saddend as he was a monumental attribute to his chapter there were 350 bikes and about 1000 people at his service robert goodman patty bennett s son a best wishes card as he enlisted in the marines may god watch over him and keep him safe as he and the rest of our troops protect our freedoms in this honorable role as a us solider also patty s health has not been well so we sent her a get well card in hopes that she will be well again soon eddie and cathy leblanc a congratulations card for the birth of their granddaughter let s all pray that she doesn t turn out anything like eddie marie ratcliff a get well card for her foot surgery she is recovering but the crutches were worse than the surgery so she got herself a nifty little go cart for her leg and is zipping right along on her road to recovery bill noll a get well card for his heart attack scare he was able to attend the run and gobble but we hope that he is taking the necessary measures to not experience that nightmare again mrs joy beiser a client of mine a thank you card for her donation to our thanksgiving fund to feed our needy families i share a lot of stories with her about our group when we have our sessions and she wanted to contribute to such a worthy and heartfelt cause due to the generosity of her and a few others we were able to put some gift cards aside to help other families during christmas as well bob and linda cook a get well card for a proceedure and a surgery we hope that all their health issues are behind them and they will be able to join the group for our december events laurajo smith a sympathy card for the loss of her very dear friend patty meeks who lost her battle with cancer cancer touches us all may they find a cure soon gator alley to all of gator alley and thier families may you be blessed with the joy and warmth of the holiday season and have reasons to celebrate all year long respectfully submitted by margo dugan sunshine chairperson abate of fla inc · gator alley chapter page 14[close]
