201 201 1 2 outreach programs richmond ballet s minds in motion dancing makes cents mim is a year-long dance residency now in it s 12th year in mhc artist workshops from virginia museum of fine arts day-long workshops for advanced high school art students make learning fun kid pan alley kid pan alley is a week-long residency that teaches students how to write and perform their own songs the legend of sleepy hollow presented by theatre iv this richmond-based troupe brings washington irving s classic to life barefoot puppets theatre the theatre s award-winning programs are an in-school favorite brass 5 professional musicians from roanoke teach kids the history of music kid pan alley theatre iv barefoot puppets theatre brass 5 and jane franklin dance are partially supported by grants from the virginia commission for the arts and the national endowment for the arts.· jane franklin dance kid pan alley and artist workshops are partially supported by the virginia museum of fine arts.· this tour engagement of aquila theatre company is funded through the mid atlantic tours program of mid atlantic arts foundation with support from the national endowment for the arts storytelling by mike lowe this mount airy based storyteller brings tall tales to life with his wit and charm aquila theatre acting workshops in conjunction with aquila s on stage performance of the importance of being earnest actors show students the basics of stage performance jane franklin dance jane franklin dance ties dance into the school curriculum in an enjoyable and educational way ron jewell as mark twain the personable ron jewell takes students on a journey through time with the real mark twain art allows students to express things about themselves the way they feel about the world around them in ways words cannot fun for kids in the galleries each year piedmont arts provides fun educational programs for preschoolers in the galleries what better way to enjoy a performance than surrounded by art 201 201 lineup 1 2 carlisle players zip zap zop martinsville high school jazz band bassett high school choral society minds in motion team xxl and more!
