17 august 2011 kia ora koutou we have had a busy couple of sporting weeks with our year 3 and 4 children having their swimming lessons and the whole school being involved in squash lessons we are lucky to have the squash court for another week all children will have the opportunity to utilise this wonderful resource golden sands school uniform if you are a family that could not make it last week to exchange your uniform for the new improved model they can be exchanged at the shop over in tauranga don t forget that uniform items can also be ordered with the online service help we are very concerned that a number of our instructional reading books are coming back to school with drawings throughout the books one such book had every single page coloured in in red felt pen each of these books are worth $15 each plus processing costs we are devastated that some of our lovely new collection is being destroyed please look after these books at home and carefully watch that books are being treated well we can not afford to replace them so families will be charged for the replacement school photos class and portrait photographs will be taken on monday 22nd august we have sent home the prepaid class and portrait envelopes to be completed and they need to be returned by friday 19th august with the money for the photo skip-a-thon our school jump rope for heart skip-a-thon is on friday 9 september please look out for the sponsorship information that is coming home skipping is a fantastic fitness activity and funds raised go to the heart foundation jrock keep up to date with what happens each day who was featured who the wildcards are etc etc by following them on facebook https www.facebook.com/stagechallenge
