the government of adamsberg is a monarchy the supreme chancellor of adamsberg is a j konen as the eldest son of the royal family he was given control of adamsberg at the time of his birth chancellor konen has ultimate power within adamsberg he is the judge jury and council there are two branches of the adamsberg government the mathematicians and the scientists the mathematicians are responsible for the day to day operations of this utopian society the scientists are responsible for all discoveries and technological advances although both branches are equally powerful chancellor konen still holds ultimate veto power and uses it judiciously the citizens of adamsberg are free to request an audience with the supreme chancellor during office hours of 0900-1200 otherwise the chancellor is busy conducting affairs of state and playing x-box.
