9 campaign for the look for information soon about how you can help revitalize the whatley center whatley center celebrates 20 years we hope that you have enjoyed coming to the whatley center for the performing arts at northeast texas community college for the past 20 years this season begins october 8th starring seven-time grammy award winner ronnie milsap and his band we hope this year s presentations hold something for everyone to enjoy please take a look at this brochure and make plans to be a season subscriber and more we have made some changes in our friends of the whatley memberships this year please notice that the titles and contents of the various packages have changed everyone who was a member last year will still have two weeks to send in your order form to keep your same seats or upgrade to better seats if available if you have questions about the new levels don t hesitate to give me a call at 903-434-8182 to prepare the whatley center for the next 20 years we are embarking on the campaign for the whatley this capital campaign will help us with renovations of the foyer auditorium and back stage areas we also have plans for upgrading our lighting and sound so we can continue to present outstanding seasons you also have an opportunity to become of member of the new whatley guild this group of volunteers will provide support for the whatley by being ushers or greeters helping with hospitality for artists assisting in the box office and many other activities this is open to every adult in the family your whatley guild membership can be included with your ticket order the stars are bright at the whatley center for the performing arts i ll see you there carolyn franks whatley center director 903-434-8182 cfranks@ntcc.edu the whatley guild is a group of people who provide volunteer support for the whatley center events some of the ways you can assist are listed below volunteer as an usher or greeter help provide hospitality for artists assist with concessions at intermission work with artists as they meet patrons and sell their merchandise 7 join the whatley guild keep in touch with members by phone or e-mail to organize events promote the whatley center in your community help with box office at will-call guild membership is $25 per person annually from sept 1 ­ aug 31.
