business acumen/technology training workshop quest basics/home page the quest system gives dsms a comprehensive view of all the sales professionals in the district it looks and operates exactly as the system the sales professionals use when quest is opened to the home page you can easily see whether or not the sales professionals are completing the basic tasks required of them this home page view will give you an overview of the activity being performed it shows month to date activity communication summaries sample inventory casf customer address and status feedback and more when you complete this section you will be able to · review month-to-date activity · review sample inventory · review communication logs · approve/reject casf · leverage and utilize quick search to locate profiles · navigate quest quickly and easily

participant s guide the quest home page when you first open the quest system it will automatically start on the home page along the top you have the menu bar with file edit view etc the welcome bar has your name and the current date above the welcome bar is the tool bar with icons for save saves changes that were made to the quest system functions contains dropdown choices for different modules home brings you to the home page from anywhere in quest history opens a panel on the left hand side of the screen with the last 200 pages visited search opens the quick search option for searching in quest we will look more closely at quick search and history later the left side of the home page contains links to search fields for different entities hyperlinks to the different quest modules and a link to quest analyzer let s look at the different sections of your home page in depth along the left side of the home page are links to search fields for different customer profiles hyperlinks to the different quest modules and a link to quest analyzer.

business acumen/technology training workshop the quest home page in detail urgent corporate messages urgent corporate messages are sent from the home office and require an immediate or timely response and/or action those messages with a checkbox can be removed from the home page after they have been read if you like the items that are hyperlinks will take you to the appropriate module when clicked to-do to-dos will appear on the home page 4 days prior to the due date and will be removed from this page after the due date whether completed or not these are also hyperlinks to the appropriate module.

participant s guide customer birthdays this section lists customers with birthdays today plus the next 4 days this information can be entered on the kbi tab of the profile what s new this is where you will receive updates about changes made to your targeted customers in this section you will see · addition or inactivation of an account or prescriber/non-prescriber · newly approved state license numbers for a prescriber · receipt of updated sales data · receipt of new reports in the reports folder hyperlinked · formulary changes-when a product s status changes on a plan one of your prescibers is affiliated with you will be notified

business acumen/technology training workshop month to date activity this section displays the current month s activity for the district you can use the drop down menu to show all the sales professionals or just select one here you can see monthly call goal days available adjusted by field activity total calls days worked one call equals a day worked and average calls per days worked communications this section displays the date and time of the last communication session of the sales professionals on the sales professional home page it will tell them how many days since their last communication session sanofi-aventis policy is to communicate daily.

participant s guide monthly inventory this section displays the sales professionals in the district and the date of their last monthly inventory customer address and status feedback the customer address and status feedback section displays the requests submitted by the sales professionals in your district action on your part is required for this request to be forwarded to the home office for further review from the drop down you can choose either show all or one specific sales professional after reviewing the request click the checkbox to accept or reject the request after you communicate your decision will be reflected on the sales professional s home page if you accept the request it will go to the home office to be reviewed and accepted or rejected if accepted it will take place during the next call plan this process is done 4 times a year.

business acumen/technology training workshop the quick search panel the quick search panel opens on the left hand side of the quest screen to open or hide this function click on the search icon on the toolbar by default you only search for active profiles you can select the checkbox to expand your search you can use no criteria or as much criteria as you would like to target your search results you may use only one choice for each criteria heading click on the search button or use your enter key to initiate the search the clear button will clear the criteria out but not the search results at the bottom of the panel rows equals the number of results the history panel the history panel also opens on the left hand side of the screen if both quick search and history are opened they will share the space the history panel will show the last 200 pages visited in quest.

business acumen/technology training workshop custom list manager custom list manager is an analytics tool that lets you look at subsections of your data that you can review and then share with your team with custom list manager you can segment data by geography call goals customers not seen as well as other key information these data lists are dynamic which means they will update with new data every time a list is run when you complete this section you will be able to · navigate through custom list manager · create a custom list · export the list to excel for printing and sharing purposes creating a new list 1
