EARTH HOUR – Participate & Win Earth Hour 2016 marked the tenth year of the campaign. It was held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 between 8:30pm and 9:30pm in local time zones. The annual event is held worldwide during March encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour as a symbol for their commitment to the planet. It aims to encourage an interconnected global community to share the opportunities and challenges of creating a sustainable world. ZAFCO Employees were encouraged to participate and send their pictures to qualify for winning an exciting prize. Based on the entries received, Jose Davila from Chile was the lucky winner. Have a look at what he had to say for this occasion. “As a family, we decided to spend one and a half hour without lights, playing Pictionary. We really enjoyed this moment because last time we played Pictionary was two years ago. Our younger son felt happy, where we had the opportunity to share this moment with our elder son on his first free weekend. He is studying at the Chilean Marine School. We are very proud to help planet earth through this celebration.”

ZAFCO Inaugurates First Ever Doublecoin’s Franchise in UAE June 10th, 2016 Sharjah, UAE – ZAFCO takes Doublecoin to new heights, considering that it was the first ever franchise for Doublecoin in UAE. Continuing the distribution expedition for Doublecoin, ZAFCO has walked an extra mile to market the brand in a refined way – just to endure the brand image in the market. ZAFCO took this initiative in collaboration with one of its key dealers – Jilphar Group of Companies. The franchise is branded at its best – be it shop décor, tyre display, or marketing material. The inauguration event was attended by 40 people, including some well-known personalities from the tyre industry like Mr. Al Sarkal from Bridgestone, followed by other renowned companies like Continental, Apollo, Michelin & Goodyear. The Executive Director of ZAFCO – Mr. Amir Abbas – did the honors for the opening ceremony, and said “Such kind of initiatives are important in distinguishing the brand from others, especially when you become a trend-setter in the market. As always, we are striving to take our portfolio brands to the next level with firm collaboration with our dealers”.

ZAFCO Brings Value at Automechanika, Dubai May 17th, 2016. Dubai, UAE – Yet another success story was written for ZAFCO at this year’s Automechanika – one of the biggest Automotive exhibitions. Apart from its own brand ZEETEX, ZAFCO umbrella carried 3 other brands including OTANI, Double Coin, and Accelera & Forceum, showcasing wide range of products meant especially for Middle East & African markets. Our brand ZEETEX was under the limelight as the most-awaited ZEETEX Product Launch proved to be a show-stopper at the exhibition. The new Value for Money (VFM) Range having 4 patterns for PCR, UHP, 4x4, and Light Truck Tires were launched on the second day of the exhibition. The VFM range is meant for the customers who look for value in terms of quality, price, and durability. RJ Pallavi from SUNO 1024 FM was invited to host the launching ceremony in style, followed by the lucky draw to giveaway exciting prizes to the winners. Having a new concept of Mini-golf activity added charm to our booth, as the visitors were engaged in the activity and took home free giveaways. “We are glad to see the interest being shown by our regular and potential customers towards the new product assortment that we come up with. Our R&D efforts pay off every time and based on our new offerings we are even more optimistic than before”, says Mr. Raghavendra Sanga – Head of Product Communication & Marketing.

ZAFCO Shines at Reifen Show, Essen 2016 May 17th, 2016. Essen, Germany – Taking the brands to limelight has been a norm for ZAFCO, and this year’s Reifen Show was no exception. Just like every time, ZAFCO’s booth was a sheer manifestation of style and elegance with appropriate display of products and appealing activities. A wide range of products from ZEETEX and OTANI were exhibited for the European market, covering all tire categories. The Product Launch for the much-awaited “Value for Money” range of ZEETEX was carried out on the first day of exhibition, unveiling 4 new patterns including Van Tire, CT2000 vfm and UHP tire, HP2000 vfm. In Truck and Bus Radial segment, new generation FRT Tire for Longhaul application, “ZTH1 Extra” and new generation Drive axle tire for Regional application, “ZDR3 Extra” were also launched. In OTANI, a new Drive Axle pattern for Off road application, OH-312 was launched. The tread pattern is aggressive enough to deliver outstanding traction in tough off-road conditions. An imaginative concept of OTANI Bar in the form of Truck was an anchor point for the booth, where the visitors had meetings while having wide range of beverages/refreshments of their choice. Moreover, the visitors were engaged in the race-track activity that created excitement and buzz on the booth. A lavish gala dinner event was organized at Atlantic Congress Hotel on the second day of exhibition, which was attended by around 110 people. An exclusive Loyalty Program called ‘GRATIAZ’ was launched in the event, followed by an in-depth product presentation and test results of new ZEETEX VFM Range. “As always, the footfall at the Reifen show was massive and having a remarkable response for our products certainly paid-off. Being there among the top tire manufacturers and having strong product portfolio, ZAFCO vows to keep striving forward by offering tailor-made products to the market. Last but not the least, the visitors were delighted to see the test results of our new products”, says Mr. Raghavendra Sanga – Head of Product Communication & Marketing.

ZEETEX Launches Online Tire Safety Campaign June 19th, 2016. Dubai, UAE - Being one of the innovative and quality-driven tire brands, ZEETEX knows how important it is to keep the customers satisfied by ensuring their safety and comfort. Keeping that in mind, ZEETEX has launched an online Tire Safety Campaign for both B2B and B2C segments, addressing the key concerns and tips that must be taken care of by the users. Give & Gain Day Give & Gain Day was celebrated in the month of May at our Head Office, where members from Pure Hearts 4 Cancer joined us and learnt the Technical aspects of Tires. Plus, Mr. Muhammad Aslam from Admin represented ZAFCO at Manzil - a non-profit organization working to promote social, educational & vocational skills.

Digital Advancements ZAFCO UAE Web-Shop ZAFCO UAE is expanding its footprints in the local market by going online. A new web-shop has been launched for the local market and the dealers within, making sure they have the access to all the necessary details required to book the order. The availability of the tires of particular brands, categories, sizes, etc. along with their stock quantity and prices would give them a clear perspective. The dealers would have the ease of selecting the products of their choice and book the order with just a few clicks. The differentiating factor in this portal is that it can automatically generate the invoice and order booking number, which would be used by the company and saved in the SAP system as well. All the documentation would be online, and real-time queries would be passed. OTANI Website With brands like OTANI, having online presence deems to be a vital part in promoting the brands worldwide. OTANI website was revamped to give it a refined touch in terms of color scheme, appearance, functionality, and content. All the key tools, content, and graphical information are incorporated to serve the target audience at its best.
